We had a brilliant time at Gite Poirier. We were two families, with 4 children staying for a week. The space was perfect. Denise and Adrian welcomed us, made us feel at home instantly and were on hand for any help and advice a needed. The grounds are beautiful, and the whole place is even better than the photos. The Gite had everything we needed. A generous welcome basket on arrival, bathroom and pool towels, an extremely well stocked kitchen, a real home from home and a place to really relax! The private outside courtyard was larger than expected, with large table and chairs, a new pergola and a great BBQ. The games barn was a hit with the kids, as was the lovely pool with inflatables provided! We borrowed bikes, a cycle through the vineyards is a must. The summer house is a lovely bonus extra space to hang out in. We enjoyed kayaking in Cognac and loved the tree climbing at Fontdouce, all close by. Highly recommend this place, thanks Denise and Adrian, we hope to come back again!
