In the family for eight generations, this old farmhouse, located in the heart of Saintonge, has retained its authenticity and charm. You will stay in my grandmother's old stable, which has recently been restored. Lovers of nature and tranquility, you will share our farmhouse with cats, chickens and rabbits. Beautiful Gite In The Stunning Cognac Countryside

The Gites benefit from beautiful thick stone walls which help keep the rooms cool in the summer, whilst retaining the heat in the winter. The Hanger provides a great place to sit and eat anytime of the day (or just sit and relax) with that all important shade in the summer. We live in the house on the other side of the courtyard and are there to provide you with any assistance you may need with your stay, or to leave you in peace to enjoy your relaxing holiday at Les Grandes Ecures.

It comfortably sleeps 8 in 3 spacious bedrooms - large bedroom with 4 singles en suite upstairs and 2 double bedrooms and bathroom on ground floor. Can be booked with our smaller gite to sleep 13 in total. Awarded 4* rating by Charente Maritime Tourist Board. All bed linen and towels are provided.
