The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm. You can join us in caring for them on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full-time work and have four small children.

Amazing views of the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. Sit back and relax in this stylish home, with great views of the Sognefjord. The house is completely renovated and has a large wooden terrace that runs around the house. In addition, there is a big attached garden. There are 2 bedrooms, bathroom, and a large and bright living room with wood-burning stove and kitchen. The apartment is located on the ground floor, while the laundry room with the washing machine and dryer is located on the ground floor. The house is located by the forest of about 5 km. distance from Lavik city center.

Helle Gard - Cozy cabin - fjord and glacier view

The cabin is situated on a farm at Helle in Sunnfjord, in a beautiful scenery at Førdefjorden. It has an amazing view to the fjord and the majestic snow top mountain with a glacier. It lies close to the fjord and a small beach. Perfect place for hiking, fishing and relaxation in a rural retreat. Nearest supermarked is in Naustdal, 12 km from the cabin, and local cafe/shop is 10 min away. Free WiFi in the cabin. Motorboat for rent (summer season). Self service farm shop with fresh eggs!
