“The Old Forge was perfect! It was spotless and seemed like new and Kim has thought of everything. We’ve stayed in many a smart hotel (for work) and this is comparable to a small suite with a kitchenette. There was milk, bread, cereal, tea, coffee etc, dressing gowns and toiletries too. We had a delicious brunch at Nosh cafe, a good Thai meal in nearby Alton and a good walk at the Devil’s punch bowl, about 30mins drive away. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.”

“Having stayed a couple of times I can confirm that the accommodation is delightful, in a quaint rustic setting. Outside there are very friendly dogs, a family cat and hens pecking in the yard. An ideal country retreat, particularly during the warmer months, and Catherine is a pleasant, thoughtful host. Well recommended.”
