WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the fantastic nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There is also a sauna in connection with the sea bath. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city centre. There are 2 km to Pizzeria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

From the apartment's own terrace you can follow the life of the lake in a wealth of different birds, and everything from kayaks to ferries. Beautiful hiking, MTB trails, cycling From the cozy mountain town of Laven, the train runs in a short time to Ry, silkeborg, Sejs, Aarhus , the station is only 400 meters from the apartment. There is no internal staircase between the floors, and there is a private entrance to the apartment. Wi-Fi 👍

The house is built in 1905, there are hardwood floors and high ceilings in every room. Decorated so the style fits the house, with small sweet furniture and lots of knick-knacks, most of them recycled. not quite like the old town,😉 but almost. Small cozy apartment with private entrance located in the basement of a lovely cottage in the 1st row to Mossø. The apartment has a bedroom with a double bed, kitchen/living room with a small sofa bed, dining area and all facilities for easy cooking, as well as a private bathroom with shower. There is a covered terrace and from the natural grounds/slope, access to the lake by stairs. Peaceful area in the middle of nature with short distance to the central and eastern Jutland sights.

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Cozy annex appartment in the countryside

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two Airbnb apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. Enjoy some relaxing days in peace and quiet. We look forward to meeting you.
