WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the fantastic nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There is also a sauna in connection with the sea bath. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city centre. There are 2 km to Pizzeria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

The house is 45 sqm and has a kitchen/living room with sofa bed, laundry room, bathroom and toilet as well as a large loft with a large double bed and 1 single bed. It is possible to get another bed in the loft by appointment. TV with apps. Kitchen and bathroom from 2023. The house is located 100 meters from the bakery, supermarket and pharmacy. Bus connection to Aarhus outside the door. Easy access to E45 as well as Herning motorway. 5 min to Lyngbygaard golf and 5 min to Aarhus Aadal golf club.

A completely unique view over the sky mountain lake Julsø, with a background of the most beautiful hilly landscape. From the apartment's own terrace you can follow the life of the lake in a wealth of different birds, and everything from kayaks to ferries. Beautiful hiking, MTB trails, cycling From the cozy mountain town of Laven, the train runs in a short time to Ry, silkeborg, Sejs, Aarhus , the station is only 400 meters from the apartment. There is no internal staircase between the floors, and there is a private entrance to the apartment. Wi-Fi 👍

Quiet and cosy little guesthouse in our garden that sleeps two people. The area offers ample opportunity to cycle, run or walk in the beautiful nature around Silkeborg or Gudenåen (The River Guden). Public transport (bus) 850 m. Silkeborg City Center 5 km. Jyllandsringen 4,4 km. Silkeborg Golf Club 3,7 km. Gødvad Hallen 1,4 km. Svostrup Kro 7 km. Dejligt nyt badeværeske med brus. Udgang til stor træ terrasse med fantastisk udsigt, her er mulighed for at grille og nyde en tur i vildmarksbadet. Belligende få km. til indkøb og badesø, samt tæt på skov. Kort afstand til Århus og Silkeborg, offentlig transport hertil fra Låsby hver time.

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Holiday in the countryside. With animals and garden.

Beautiful apartment in rural surroundings, located in Søhøjlandet, halfway between Aarhus and Silkeborg. The apartment has a fantastic view to the south and west. You can use our fireplace, firewood is included. There is a private terrace with morning sun. On the farm there are horses, cows, chickens and turkeys. REMEMBER to bring your own bed linen, otherwise it is possible to rent this. Payment of this is made on arrival. REMEMBER to clean on departure.

Cozy annex appartment in the countryside

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two Airbnb apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. Enjoy some relaxing days in peace and quiet. We look forward to meeting you.

Donuts

Lovely annex in Denmark's highest village, overlooking Himmelbjerget. Sorring is surrounded by beautiful, hilly nature, where there is plenty of opportunity for walking and cycling. There is a bike path all the way to Silkeborg. Transport time from Sorring is only 15-30 minutes drive to Silkeborg, Skanderborg and Aarhus, respectively. Sorring is a 5-10 minute drive from the Aarhus-Herning highway. There is a 5-10 minute walk to shopping.
