Chalet holiday rentals in Lake Superior

Very peaceful, cozy and clean. Exceptional location

Wedel Haus was a great little triplex unit that is super close to Snow River's Jackson Summit. There are other cabins around, but it is a very quiet neighborhood. The cozy indoor gas fireplace and outdoor hot tub on the deck were perfect for our ski weekend. The hot tub and deck area are shared so there is a fair amount of communal outdoor space. Having friends rent the other units is a nice option. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to find.

What a beautiful place to stay! House is amazing, scenery amazing, fishing was good as the boys caught large and small mouth bass, northern and grand baby was elated at all the blue gill she caught off the dock. Gene was very prompt on answering all questions and very gracious for helping with all that mattered. Nice scenic drive into town for shopping and other needs less then 10 minutes away. Close walking trails. Great for family vacation!!

This spot was amazing for our Snowboarding trip, and the group of friends who went absolutely love the location, and of course, right close Giants Ridge made it all the more better. Abby was very responsive, and accommodating! We do this trip annually, and will definitely be booking this again!!

Thank you Shawn, Everything was clean, convenient, and comfortable. All in working order. The view is spectacular. We so enjoyed the deck overlooking the Lake...peaceful. We were here for the golf and it did not disappoint. Two are in the top 100 public golf courses. We will make this trip again and definitely stay here.

We had an amazing stay. The ski hill is right up the road. It was within minutes of the nearest towns. And lots of space for everyone to spread out. We will definitely book this again!

Our stay at the Sandy Bottoms Chalet was wonderful!! We thoroughly enjoyed their beautiful home, kayaking on the lake, the sauna, & the fire pit!! The area is beautiful! It is a great place for a family gathering !! We would highly recommend staying here and hope to go back one day! 😊

This lakefront property on Lake Lucy was perfect for our family of 6! The location offered the quintessential Northwoods experience, just minutes from downtown Minocqua. Our kids loved sledding and building snow forts on the ice and the sunroom was ideal for morning coffee. The well-equipped kitchen made family meals a breeze. Having 3 bedrooms + loft gave everyone enough space, and the open-concept living area meant we could all spend time together comfortably. The views of the lake through the large windows were stunning, especially at sunset. Very clean and the host was responsive to our questions. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a peaceful lake getaway in the Northwoods!

We had plenty of room for our entire family. The lake and surrounding area is beautiful with great proximity to Lake Superior and lots of trails. We would stay here again.

Beautiful location! Lake access was great for kayaking and fishing for trout, rock bass, bluegills and sunfish. Also only 30 minutes from Lake Superior where we were able to see the Northern Lights and search for Yooper Lights. Lots of lawn space for the kids to play baseball, football and soccer. Having two kitchens was AMAZING when cooking for a large group. And multiple bathrooms were also very helpful... never had to wait! Kelvin was very responsive to answering any questions. The only downside was limited parking right at the Chalet... but lots of nearby parking is available, so no biggie. Overall an amazing stay!!!

The setting is beautiful and the cabin pristine. All amenities you need. The location is perfect for events in Hayward as it’s easy to get to and from. Brittney was an extraordinary host and communicator. She returns messages rapidly and was pleasant with every interaction. We hope to be back next year. Brothers, childhood friends and parents.

Great place to call home for several days! This was our first time in Lutsen & it was everything we had hoped it would be. The house was set up perfectly for our group. Heated floors are now a must everywhere we go during these months. Sauna was used multiple times a day. Especially after 3 days of riding Lutsen Mountains. We were also greeted with 8 inches of snow the first full day. Vibes were high & we would certainly stay again! Don’t hesitate to book this chalet. You won’t regret it!

Patrick & McCabe’s listing was nothing short of amazing! A short 3 minutes from skiing/snowboarding was convenient and assured us we would have multiple visits to hit the slopes. The decor was perfect - living room purposely designed for conversation and looking out the large windows was peaceful, especially when waking up! Enough room and storage for all our gear and all the amenities you are looking for. Coffee, snowboard/ski, sauna, eat, games, REPEAT! Loved every minute of our cousins trip! 💕 Thank you for sharing your chalet with us!

The Mysa house was fantastic. The views and sounds of the lake were so calming during our long weekend stay. The A-frame was so cozy and unexpectedly spacious. It's clear Kevin and Chris have spent a lot of effort giving the house character while avoiding a cluttered feel. Our two golden retrievers loved the place and even got to watch some deer in the driveway from inside the deck doors. Kevin was very responsive to our questions and gave us great recommendations for hiking and dining around the area. I would highly recommend this bnb to any couples or families looking for a nice getaway while still being close to Grand Marais.

Beautiful cabin and fabulous property. Our family of 5 and dog stayed for a long weekend and it was amazing. Brad was a great host, extremely responsive. The home was absolutely as listed and we would definitely recommend to others. We can’t wait to come back again.

Breathtaking, grounding and peaceful. This picturesque cabin was well put together with Modern, scandi and earthy vibes. Custom wood, local stones and a calming vantage point of the water below. We saw Sandhill cranes, geese, various ducks and eagles to name a few. And the woodstove was a key element. This place was just what we needed in late winter/early spring to spend our anniversary. We hope to return.
