Historical Water Tower Montabaur

Built in 1879, the listed water tower in Montabaur offers a special and cosy ambience. In a prime location in Montabaur, between the ICE train station and the old town, pretty much everything the city has to offer is within walking distance. The tower is historically preserved, but still offers many modern amenities. Around 1990, it was completely renovated and converted into living space. In 2023 it was renovated with a new bathroom. Grandma's apartment in a new look. I renovated and reformed the apartment in 2020. Self-designed furniture meets design classics and antique fixtures. Since I rarely use the apartment myself, I now offer it as a vacation rental. Therefore, the apartment is fully equipped. In the winter, it is cozy in the large living area and in summer the covered balcony and the sun terrace invites you to linger. Highlight in the summer is the outdoor sleeping area on the balcony.

Our quiet apartment is located in Lahnstein, right on the edge of the forest with a view of the Lahn valley. Lahnstein in a central location on the romantic Middle Rhine and the perfect start for excursions of all kinds. The apartment is about 63 m2 in size, has a cozy living room with separate dining area and direct access to the terrace. A spacious bathroom with bathtub and a practical equipped kitchen complete our cozy apartment.
