Holiday rentals with breakfast in Lagoa

Nice view from our deck…stunning if you walk across the street. Easy walking distance to two delicious restaurants (February) Fair amount of steps to go up (~flights) if you have any mobility issues. Room was small but comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed having the extra beds in the loft. Kitchen is quite small, but was able to make a couple delicious meals. (No breakfast during winter months) Just loved this location and town. All in all, would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location a little away from the tourist buildings on the beach, the cozy garden and the Jacuzzi on the roof, which we also liked to use at night, enriched our holiday very much. We can highly recommend spending a few vacation days there when you're ready to take a little further path to the very extensive and beautiful swimming beach in Armaçao de Pera.

Located in a pretty valley next to the river. The place has stone floors and is tastfully decorated with comfortable beds. The pool area is a couple of minutes walk. We had a friendly cat that would come and say hello every day! This place is peaceful and perfect for relaxing. There was fresh bread delivered every day. On arrival there were yogurts, jam and cheese provided. We really enjoyed the free yoga lessons (Wed and Sat only). Lots of nice beaches nearby but our favourite was Praia da Amoreira - a beautiful beach and a long stretch where you can swim in the river (where the river meets the sea).

We were 12 people who came together (ranging from 3- 89 years old), from across the globe and we all had a wonderful stay. It was perfect. The areas (inside and out) were large enough for us to gather together as a group, and the house was spacious enough that people could retreat to their room or area should they want to break away for some alone time. We cooked big dinners, spent hours in the pool, and played games at night. The grounds were private, filled with beautiful bougainvillea, geraniums, and hibiscus plants. There is plenty of sun and shade (outside) and ACs in the bedrooms. I would say the pictures don't do the home justice. The rooms are larger in person. The hosts were readily available to help with finding things in the home or with recommendations for things to do in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay, and can’t wait to be back for a longer period. The guesthouse is charming and peaceful, and Paula is a wonderful host.

Actually, so much has already been written about this great Airbnb. We agree with ALL positive reviews. If you are planning an individual holiday in the Algarve, you should book here. It was fantastic. Our life in the almost 2 weeks took place mostly outside. It is so nice to enjoy the first coffee/tea on the roof terrace in the morning or wine in the evening. Our 2nd favourite place was the courtyard with kitchen counter. We loved having breakfast here and enjoying the affogato in between. We had planned not to cook. However, it was so much fun in this well-equipped kitchen. So, there were small dishes or salads in the evening. Restaurants, the small market hall, the local grocery stores and 2 discount stores are within walking distance. We liked Silves very much. There are good opportunities to shop for beautiful things here. Many thanks to Marta + Levi for the communication + the new dishwasher

We felt very comfortable in the apartment and on the premises. The breakfast was delicious. Fresh fruit and warm pastries every day. Special requests were gladly met. There were even the right birthday candles! The apartment and terrace were cleaned every day. The bathrooms, especially the showers, are great. Always friendly people, very good food even in the evening. Sunset by the pool overlooking the countryside. It was very nice!

well what can I say about Katja & Ed's appointment, it is exactly as In pictures & description, amazing welcoming host a d Katja messaged in the week to see if all was well and if we needed anything, nothing is too much trouble - we had no need to contact them as all was perfect - just minutes walk from beach & fabulous restaurants & supermarket, all in all a wonderful place to stay. Joao’s apartment and the pool are absolutely superb with all the amenities need it.The apartment was very clean and so as the pool .Joao is an outstanding host , he was very friendly , helpful and responsive .We will definitely book again Joao’s apartment if we go back to Portimao.Thank you Joao for the way you treat us while we were in Portimao!

We stayed at the two bedroom with 4 people. It’s a great open space and has a lovely deck. Each room has its own airco so you can set your preferences. We appreciated the beach towels and umbrella. The walk to beach is about 10 min. It’s a very wide stretch so enough space and nice shops and restaurants near the beach. The old town is about an 8 min walk and has lovely shops and restaurants. We did most of our shopping at the Lidl, a few min drive away. The parking garage is a nice bonus as I can see it to be hard to park on the street in the Summer months. We only parked there once as my larger rental car with very high sensitive sensors , would drive me crazy… The spot is tight and need a few turns to get in. Street parking was always available so we chose that option. My kids accidentally locked us out and we got “rescued “ within 90 min. It was our fault but they made no fuss about it. As others said the one key can be a bit of an issue. Can recommend this place.

My family had the best week here, the apartment is gorgeous, the facilities are brilliant - the kids loved the pool, footie pitch and tennis courts - for most of the time we had the facilities to ourselves. The hot tub was lovely to chill in on an evening. Breakfast to your door what a lovely touch. We got an uber within minutes which took us to the old town and beach every day for €4 - perfect. We hope to return next year 💕

The apartment was as described. The location is fantastic. From outside the doorstep you can have a beach, a bar, or a restaurant. There are so many accessible by walking it was one of our favourite parts of the location. The walking paths and the beach allow you to explore a lot easily. And being central, it is easy to drive or Uber to other towns for additional exploration. It was great that if we explored during the day, we could park for the evening and walk to dinner, a cafe, or live music. The beach in front of the apartment is a bit quieter and very nice, and you can easily get to other beaches in a short walk, if you wish. The apartment has a wonderful, large balcony with a view of the ocean and a spot to watch the sunset. The amenities allowed us to prepare some breakfasts and snacks in the apartment. Parking was easy. Paulo and Marcia were prompt in responding to questions and super easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend.

Very welcoming hosts, attentive to us. Very clean accommodation with a hearty and excellent breakfast with homemade products. And the presence of two small cats.

It's located in a 5 stars hotel and this flat has a privileged view over the swimming pool and the sun shines there basically all day long as it's south facing. One of the reasons I booked in this location was because of its gym, which a lot better equipped than I could foresee, was a very good surprise. I recommend whomever books this flat to also hire a car because the closest minimarket it's about 15 mins walk away. Antonio is a very nice guy and I totally recommend his flat for your stay.

I had a great time at Maximilian's place! Everything was perfect – from the clean and cozy apartment to the excellent location. Great spot, good vibes and friendly people

Very pleasant stay centrally located in Algarve. Beautiful rooms with private balcony and pool that you share with 4 other guests. Very nice breakfast as well as the opportunity to dine there in the evening. Anne and George are very sweet and warm people who will welcome you with much love and they can cook great.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation, If you don't stay there, it's your own fault. The breakfast and care were excellent. We would love to come back and can recommend the accommodation from the heart ♥️

Dominique was a super host and helpful with restaurants etc. He drove us to our restaurant outside the town which we had reserved. The b&b was beautifully presented and pristine throughout. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in a most beautiful setting on the terrace. We did not get to meet Caroline who was away during our visit. Very nice exotic accommodation, well equipped, very clean and well located. I loved the contact with Florance and Alain because thanks to them we feel at home, they are always available to help us and are very nice. As soon as we can, we'll be back, you can go there with your eyes closed.
