Townhouse holiday rentals in Lagoa

The property is very cosy and centrally located. It is only a few minutes to the beach and in the middle of the village center. Plenty of restaurants and coffees, in the immediate vicinity. The contact on site is very straightforward and helpful, always happy to come back.

We spent a month here and everything was great! The place had all we needed and we felt right at home. We loved the private balcony and rooftop which had amazing views of the town and ocean. The beach and restaurants were just a 5 minute walk and the stairs down to the main street made getting into town super easy. We would definitely come back and stay again in the future! ------- After writing this review I received a message regarding the electric cost for our stay. Though it was stated in the description that electricity would be charged during winter we were very surprised at the cost. We only heated 2 of the rooms with space heaters at night (our bedroom and the living room) because without those it would be too cold for comfort. Other than that we used what I would say is a normal amount of electricity but the charge was over $360 for one month. We are still satisfied with the stay but added this because it is something we wish we had seen in reviews before we booked.

Carlos was very friendly spoke excellent English even though I can speak a bit of Portuguese. Kept in contact to check everything was ok . Smooth check in and check out . Would stay again.

My husband and I stayed for almost three weeks and felt right at home. As hikers we can’t think of a better location … just steps from one of the top hikes in all of Europe. Easy to drive to other parts of the Algarve. Easy to get to the grocery. We slept peacefully and comfortably every night. Never a peep outside. I hope we get the opportunity to return. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely house to stay in. We especially liked sitting on the roof terrace and eating on the patio in the back garden. Super comfy bed and welcome air-conditioning. The shared pool was excellent and we enjoyed many hours sitting on loungers in the shade, reading and dipping in and out of the pool to keep cool. The local beach was a pleasure and the location is ideal for many things

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Stayed for a week with my family, the location is great, two minutes from the shop, restaurants and the beach. Will deffo book it again

An absolutely impeccable host. Responsive, friendly and available. The house is very well-equipped and the pool is pleasant to use. The only downside is that we only booked for 4 nights. We would have stayed a few more days! Recommended. Thanks again.

Really nice complex, good driving distance from the sea. Very spacious inside, and generally even better than on the photos!

Overall a great place to stay. Super close to the beach and most restaurants. Like other reviews there was a bit of noise from the main street with lots of cars driving on it (however it did not overly impact us). The hosts were super responsive with some great local recommendations. Would recommend and stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Tina and Kimmo’s beautiful home in Ferragudo. The house is ideally situated in the old part of Ferragudo, very close to handy shops and a huge selection of restaurants. The area where the house is situated is very peaceful. The beaches are close by, there’s plenty of free parking very close by, and the house is artistic, creative and very well equipped. The roof space is a great bonus. It’s warm, has great views, is spacious and now has its own well equipped kitchen. There’s a lovely cute decking area which catches beautifully the early morning sun. Tina is truly a super host and always responds very quickly and helpfully.

We had a great time! The property was spotless and very peaceful. It was in a lovely area, a short drive to Benegil cliffs which was amazing. Very friendly and showed us around/gave loads of recommendations of places to go and eat. Any questions we had were answered very quickly with no problems, and they even left a welcome hamper for us which was lovely. I look forward to the next time!

7 of us had a great stay at this villa. Leonel was very responsive and helpful. We were allowed to check in earlier than stated. We had a small issue with the keys and he organised the maid to come straight away. Couch is amazingly comfortable. Loved the balcony on the main bedroom. The area is pretty and the local bakery in the town is amazing!

Nice place that has everything you need. The host is super responsive and even gave us a late checkout.

Amazing place & stay. Really has the wow factor. Lots of nice personal touch’s upon arrival including simple but appreciated coffee capsules , washing machines & dishwasher tablets & afew local treats. Visitors book showing lots of useful local information. All in all one of if not the best air B&B stays I’ve had 👏🏽

Private and peaceful and comfortable for our two families. Good value. We liked walking to the town for dinner along the cliff path. Comfortable bedrooms and super stylish.

We had a pleasant stay in Carvoeiro. There were 5 of us, the 2 bathrooms are a real plus. The house is very well-equipped, every detail has been thought out. We even had the essentials for a first breakfast! Many thanks to Emma for hosting us. The accommodation is located in a very quiet area. Although the residence has a lot of accommodation we had the pool almost to ourselves every day. A vehicle is however necessary because there is nothing nearby. Carvoeiro center is a 10-minute drive. The accommodation is a 5-minute drive from the starting point of a beautiful 6-hour hike along the cliffs and a very first beach beach. We recommend it ++

The stay is exactly as in the pictures: spacious and comfortable. Spacious living room with fireplace, pleasant bedrooms, good bathroom, sunny terrace. Parking right outside the door. Good hiking opportunities. Communication with Filomena about exchanging bed and bath sheets very easy. When we were there, it was very quiet (December and January). Many very good restaurants nearby (some unfortunately closed in January), a supermarket nearby. In Armacao de Pera (2 km, free parking) two supermarkets, interesting Saturday market, many (rather imaginative) apartment buildings, but a few super restaurants and coffee bars. Lots of nice places nearby, museums and other culturally interesting places. Easy (cheap) train connection from Albufeira to Lisbon. Recommend!

We had a fantastic holiday at this villa. It has everything you could possibly need and is in an amazing location. The villa is spotlessly clean and has amazing outside spaces and also so much room inside. We will definitely return.

What a magical few days we had! The apartment is really lovely, as is the roof top view. All the stuff you need is there for small children - toys, books, highchair and blackout shutters were all really useful. Lots of lovely local restaurants and a stunning beach nearby which was quiet with great food options. Pool was a bit nippy as it isn’t heated but warmed up over the week, and was always empty when we went. We’d recommend Club Nau, Brunch in Rio, O Velho Novo and Delizie for yummy food and friendly staff. A really wonderful spot, and lovely place to stay with everything easy to walk to. Faro airport transfers easy with Uber as well.

The place has a great location, you can hear the sea and can walk to a very nice beach. The residential complex is quiet and green. There are swimming pools and a winter-heated pool. The apartment is part of a complex with private apartments that are rented out. There was little going on in January overall and many apartments were empty. The communication is via Luis, the issue then continues to the management of the facility. These also do the cleaning and provide a baby chair (quite expensive, €2.5/day) or additional blankets if needed. Accordingly, the apartment is very clean but also a little impersonal and generically furnished. The fireplace is not working so well, the smoke usually drains, but not always, then the apartment is immediately smoked. The air conditioning can also heat. Luis always responded quite promptly and helpful via Airbnb app, personally I did not meet him.

Miriam and Filipe were wonderful, and did everything that could have been asked for. Unfortunately for us the weather didn't cooperate during our trip but the hosts can't be blamed for that. The place is lovely.
