Really great place. Very quiet and private on a really quiet road yet close to downtown and East Austin. Really enjoyed the location. Mike was a great host. Very responsive. I would highly recommend and will probably be back!

Location! Location! We were in town for a meeting in downtown Austin. Both nights we stayed we walked up the street to awesome restaurants in the evening.

Had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Jessa and Blake’s guesthouse. Clean, cozy, cute space, and welcoming. Has everything you’ll need. Even though the address is on a busy road the guesthouse is very quiet. Easy parking on the side streets. Sheets and towels are good quality. The bed is VERY comfortable. Plenty of hangars for clothes. Air conditioning worked great. Water pressure was good. If you come back at night walkways are illuminated and a motion sensor light comes on. The neighborhood is one of Austin’s originals so if you like houses with character this is the spot. Grocery stores and places to eat within a ten minute drive. Would absolutely come back and stay at the guest house!

Loved it, just the right space, very well thought out, in a nice neighborhood. Bed and pillows were comfy and it was very quiet and dark at night, great sleep!

What an absolute gem of a place! I loved the artsy decor, and the little touches that made the place extra fun. Chair swing! Gorgeous tiled shower. And the lake/boardwalk just a 10 minute walk away made it perfect. I loved my stay and would return in a second!

I stayed for 2 months and the apartment was just perfect for what I needed. It is not an apartment to go work in, it is a home to come back to rest and warm your heart after walking, biking, playing volleyball and working in the cafes around downtown. You really feel like in a lux tree house. Amy and Nick were always willing to help and answer any questions. The place is silent, a healthy family environment. For an adventurous person, it is perfect🙏🏼🙏🏼.It is spacious and is a little bigger than what I expected from looking at the pictures. I will definitely be back. Also: kitchen perfectly equipped, cozy living room, comfy bed and pillows, and the lighting is so warm too. 🫀🫀.

Eric was a great host and had so many thoughtful touches to his home. Close to UT & downtown, with plenty of available parking options in front of the guest house. Would stay again in the future!

What a lovely little guest house! Joe's place was perfect for my brief visit to Austin. It was super clean, quiet, and walkable to some of my favorite spots south of downtown. I would absolutely stay here again, if he'd have me!

I stay in Austin frequently, and this one probably one of my favorite places I’ve stayed. Beautiful place, comfy bed, really relaxing. Absolutely recommend if you’re wanting to stay in east Austin or to relax on a solo trip.

Great location for a great price. Off the road and tucked back enough we had plenty of privacy but also walkable to south congress area and the riverside. We slept comfortably and had everything we needed.

Rita’s place is close to my Shady Hollow family… very convenient. I’ve stayed there a couple of times and it will always be my first choice for future stays.

I absolutely loved my stay here. It was a perfect location for my first time visiting Austin - so easy to catch a ride downtown. The patio has a gorgeous view of the DT Austin skyline. David was so friendly and helpful. The place is very comfortable and I felt right at home.

We had a great experience with Rachel! She communicated very well and instructions were clear. The bed was super comfortable with cotton/natural fiber bedding (really makes a difference!). We also appreciated the Brita pitcher in the fridge. AC worked well! Very quiet, peaceful and felt very safe. In walking distance to restaurants. Location was just 15 minutes from the airport. My boyfriend and I had a great experience with Kristina’s BNB! Cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable, and it smelt like a fresh garden walking in because you’re surrounded by a garden! Instructions to check in and check out were super clear and easy to follow, and the host was very sweet on top of everything! This was our first time in Austin and I’m so glad we had a great first experience. I would totally come back and stay at Kristina’s place again. I highly recommend staying here for a guaranteed relaxing vacation. :)

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location and easy parking, and there were plenty of towels and linens. The freezer was out of order the the fridge wasn’t all that cold, but otherwise everything was great.

If you can get over the fact that the alley way where you park has some dumpsters, the location itself is awesome in terms of being less than a quarter of a block to one of the most attractive places we encountered in Austin for eating, walking nightlife etc. The apartment itself was very quiet, clean, well maintained and comfortable. The hosts were extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. One of the big highlights of our 40 day road trip, was being able to walk in 20 minutes down South Congress to the bridge at dusk to observe with many others when the million+ bats that live under the bridge took flight.

We lived near this neighborhood before, and wanted to stay here because how walkable the neighborhood is, and how close it is to a bus route. We enjoyed walking to catch a bus downtown to listen to live music one night, and I walked to meet some friends at Upper Crust Bakery another morning. This guest house was perfect for is, we could relax in privacy and come take a nap between meeting with friends. We appreciate the kind responsiveness to a request and felt all of our needs were met - we appreciate the use of the on site washer and dryer!
