Tom was a great host. Loved the feeling of the private apartment feel while still being connected to the house. He was super responsive and engaged with our adventure as we look to move from Dallas to Austin. His house was located in an area of Austin we are looking at moving, and his interactions and location of his house made the trip super worthwhile. Totally recommend !!

I had a great stay here. Austin is responsive and ready with neighborhood recommendations. The location is awesome - with a convenience store/cafe right next door which was great for grabbing beverages, snacks, etc. There are a number of restaurants and food trucks within a few minutes walk on 11th st. It's about a 10 minute walk south to 6th st if you're looking for a busier area. Overall, I loved the location and would recommended to anyone wanting to stay in the city. Thanks Austin!

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless—super clean and well-maintained, which made it feel really comfortable and welcoming. One of the best parts was how easy it was to access—being on the first floor made coming and going a breeze. Everything was just as described, and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Had a great time here, the area was peaceful and the on-site parking was specially useful as a car is a must in Austin. Tobin is responsive and was able to fix any issues quickly, as well as giving useful recommendations.

Honestly loved the place. was very clean and smelt amazing. Was very easy to find the apartment and the stay was great . also had very comfortable bedding/mattress.

This was truly a quality Airbnb experience - and I travel often. The location is unbeatable. It is right in the heart of downtown Austin, with everything from live music to world-class food literally steps away. But what really made this stay special was the space itself. The photos didn’t do it justice. The amenities were actually better than described sleek, modern finishes, incredibly comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches throughout. And the perch overlooking all the action? Absolutely stunning. Whether it was sunrise coffee or late-night people-watching, it gave the entire stay that elevated, “you’re in the middle of it” magic. Check-in, surprisingly, was a breeze—everything worked as expected and getting into the unit was smooth. That said, I want to gently offer one piece of feedback: the instructions sent in advance were so detailed and intense that they honestly made me a bit anxious. It felt like I was preparing for a covert mission rather than a relaxing stay.

Our trip was wonderful! The place was lovely and the few issues we did have were addressed quickly. We did bring a sound machine and ear plugs just to be proactive and the sound machine was a lifesaver at night to drown out loud upstairs neighbors, but that was a minor issue when the trade off was getting to walk to Barton springs every morning 3 minutes away. We loved the natural light and enjoyed the ac as well!

Unless you just want to stay right in the middle of downtown Austin, this is the perfect spot. Close to downtown but a bit of a walk. We took an Uber from downtown and it was only $8. When we go back to Austin we will stay here again for sure. :0)

Excellent space. Spacious and beautiful. Great design. Crystal was accurate and clear in all communication. . They had everything we needed and more. So many appliances we would have loved to use if we had more time. Easy to access and near so many great restaurants. Quiet neighborhood even though it's in the popular East side. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We'll be back.

Absolutely loved staying here! This unit is well equipped with all the amenities and more! Location is amazing and I loved walking and exploring the neighborhood, including the cemetery grounds. Loved having a washer and dryer in the unit! Everything about the space was clean and well organized. John even provided K-cups! While the mattress was a bit too soft for my liking, I realize that is individual preference and I was still able to rest well. Whenever I return to Austin, this will be my #1 choice for ABnB!

We had a great stay at this home and really appreciated how communicative the host was-always quick to respond to any questions. The home felt very “lived in,” which we actually appreciated for a kid-friendly stay. The photos were accurate overall, though the exterior was more overgrown than expected and the trampoline looked a bit “play at your own risk.” That said, our kids had an amazing time with the seemingly endless toys, and it was a huge relief not having to bring bulky items like a stroller or a Pack ‘n Play, since they’re here. The beds were very comfortable, the A/C kept us cool during a hot Austin weekend, and having a good washer/dryer made life easier. The location is definitely a strong point—easy access to some great local spots, including Launderette and Bufalina, both of which we’d highly recommend. Check-out was simple. Our only real suggestion would be a deeper cleaning refresh to match the overall comfort and utility. This place is equipped for families!

We had a great stay here for a bachelorette party! Great location, very responsive, flexible, and easy-going host. A smidge tight for 8 people but honestly with low-maintenance girls it's absolutely doable. The house was maintained very well. Sleeper-sofa was may more comfortable than I would have guessed. Overall, an excellent experience - would recommend!

This is a beautiful property, like many other reviews posted the property and house exceeded all expectations. We were visiting for NCAA Regional Baseball Tournament and the location couldn’t have been better. If you are in town for anything related near UT campus or even downtown area this place is an excellent option. Jason was amazing host as well, very responsive, gave great recommendations around the area and what an amazing job he has done with this property. Anytime I need to be in Austin I will definitely look for availability at this listing or any of Jason’s listings after seeing his touch and style.

Had an awesome stay in The Austin Texas House! The place was super clean and comfy, and the location was perfect!!! just a short walk to our favorite restaurant. I got to meet Chris and he was super friendly and welcoming, plus we got to meet his sweet dog Mika too! Really appreciated the hospitality. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in town!

This little place was so perfect for our needs. It was incredibly close to all the activities we wanted to do. Very close to downtown and yet in a really cute and clean and nice neighborhood. The place itself is darling. It possibly at one time was an older apartment but all redone and upgraded, It has a darling area to sit at in the lower entry part, or you can sit up on the balcony, lovely trees everywhere. The bed is tucked in a little cubbyhole, luckily we’re still young enough to climb in there. You just have to maybe put your phone under your pillow if you need it by you for an alarm or something, since there are not room for tables, but we made it all work! We don’t sweat the small things, the location was worth everything. Oh, and not to mention the covered parking! The host went above and beyond helping in any areas we needed! Would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed my stay in Lucy’s place; it was well-stocked with necessary items to use during the stay. She was very responsive and proactive in figuring out a solution anything that needed attention. She was kind too. The neighborhood felt safe and there are a few cafes/restaurants in walk distance. Thanks Lucy!

We had an amazing stay it was our first time staying in an apartment with Airbnb so we were hesitant but it honestly felt so safe and right at home. Everything was clean however the only thing is the water pressure if you want something that has amazing shower water pressure this place is not it but it was decent. Besides that this place was a 5/5. Would stay here again in the future if available!

Sharissa's place was so convenient, walking distance to Congress Ave, gorgeous neighborhood, and the apartment was beautifully decorated! I communicated with our host and she immediately responded. We will definitely come back when visiting Austin!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Cannon’s place. The location is fantastic with easy and quick access to Barton Springs pool and trails. The studio has all the necessary amenities, is quiet and secure , and has a convenient local store next door. Perfect for a long weekend. Would book again.

Great value in an excellent location. Check in was a bit tricky. Complex is like a maze but the screenshots provided during checkin with directions was helpful. We did get lost leaving the unit a couple times but after some time you get acclimated to the area. Never used our vehicle as there was tons to do in walking distance of the unit.

I enjoyed my stay very much! Clean, comfortable and well appointed, and close to all the things you want to do in Austin. Highly recommend!
