The porch among palm trees

Old 'alpendre' (porch) recently transformed for residential use in Santa Lucía de Tirajana. The alpendre was the house of the animals. The most valued and difficult to keep were the cows. The spectacular view of the valley (Barranco de Anzoe) of the sea up to Mount Teide on Tenerife is hard to beat. The approximately 45 m² cave with annex is more than 100 years old and was brought back to life in the summer of 2022 and lovingly renovated as a vacation home. The comfortable amenities leave almost nothing to be desired (note: Wi-Fi available, NO TV!! ;-)

It maintains the original structure of the time, when the houses had rooms overlooking a courtyard. With the aim of maintaining its historical value,in each of them we have enabled the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen living room. All surrounded by an open-air patio, with hammock and lounging area.

Forget your worries in this great place to stay — it's an oasis of tranquility! View of the Amurga massif, nature and clear skies. The rural settlement where the house is located is next to the most important natural palm grove in the Canary Islands. An ideal place to go hiking, visit the La Fortaleza Interpretation Center, or the Fortress itself where the ancient inhabitants of the Canary Islands lived. The village is close, you can walk and arrive in 30 minutes.

La construcción data del sXIX y ha sido rehabilitada recientemente. Tiene capacidad para seis personas como máximo. La decoración y los ambientes están muy cuidados. Tiene varias terrazas y jardín. La piscina es compartida con nuestra otra casa, Casa Catina (máx 4 pax)
