Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in La Madeleine, Nice

Vesna was an excellent host – she helped us with everything even before our trip began. The apartment has a great location, just a 10–15 minute walk from both the sea and the train station. It’s fully equipped with everything you might need; we especially appreciated the beach towels and sunscreen that were available for us to use. Upon arrival, Vesna even welcomed us with a small chocolate treat, which was a lovely gesture. If we return to Nice, we’ll definitely stay at her place again!

Haykel and Sofiane were very communicative hosts. They ensured all of my questions were answered in a timely manner. They also let me check out a tad bit later which was very helpful. The place is in a great location, in the heart of Old Town Nice. You can essentially walk anywhere - train/tram stations, bus stations, ferry ports. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within metres of the building. A few things to note: The stairs are steep (as mentioned in previews reviews). If you have heavy luggage or bad knees, it may not be a good place for you. Locals live in the same building and you will hear them as the walls are thin. The neighbors outside are audible too. Make sure to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. I used earplugs with a white noise machine and I was fine. Overall, best place to stay if you want to be in an accessible area in Nice!

Loic and his father are very kind and attentive. When I arrived Loic’s father was there to greet me and when I asked him where a few things were he was kind enough to walk me around. The beach is very close, the neighborhood is quiet, it is a 50minute walk to downtown Nice or a 13 minute drive. The bath was perfect after long days of exploring the riviera. I prefer being away from the hustle and bustle, this was perfectly located. JM burgers is down the hill and I’d enjoy espresso from them every morning.

Guilliame was very responsive the place was very nice and clean not far from Monaco or cannes.

The apartment is very easy to reach from the airport. We reached the check-in information in a timely manner and we even smell more likely. The apartment was equipped with the most necessary and clean. The beach was in the immediate vicinity and the City Centre also only 20 minutes by train. We had a great stay in Nice, among other things because of this apartment! Thank you again!

We stayed with Anne-Marie for 5 nights. The place was amazing and her and Andre took great care of us. I got tree sap on my shorts one day and they cleaned them for me because I was having trouble. The fridge had some essentials to get us started in our stay and they gave us eggs as well one day. They were great people who were very kind and helpful.

Would 100% recommend this place. The airbnb itself was really clean; well stocked and lovely. as pictured. Carine greeted us and showed us around and was lovely! During our stay Carine and Jerome were really fast to respond and were really helpful with any questions we had! The location was perfect. The views from the garden were beautiful and the train station was only 5 mins away so ideal to visit other areas too! Will 100%! Be booking to stay here again

My group of 4 enjoyed an 8 day stay at Jen's place in late May. The home is in Cimiez, a pleasant residential area on the hill above Nice. The home is only a 15-minute walk from the beach and offers a quiet and beautiful oasis from the town. The garden is extensive and delightful, much more impressive in person. The main home is spacious and well equipped, and there is also a second smaller home. This worked well for our group of 2 couples. Jen is a very kind and responsive host; you have found a rare gem in the Airbnb world.

We a great time at Christophe's place! It was so beautiful and peaceful. There were lots of local restaurants and his wife kindly gave us a recommendation for somewhere to eat seafood. She was especially lovely because she allowed me to practice my limited French! Christophe's son took us out on his boat for snorkeling and exploring the Cote D'Azur- a truly unforgettable experience! Thanks everyone!

There were three of us in the house in early May 2025 with Celine and Julien. Both are very accommodating and friendly, inquiries were answered promptly. Thanks for both of you. The house is perfectly located for visits to the surrounding villages and towns (Antibes, Cannes, Nice, etc.) as well as for starting long hikes. The pool offers a very nice and gladly used opportunity for refreshment afterwards. The rooms are very nice, the kitchen huge and invites you to cook with friends. We would always love to come again. Caroline’s house is beautiful. She was very helpful throughout our stay and made this a very memorable vacation for us. We were a group of 9, and traveled with a baby. She set up a crib and chair for her, made sure everything was comfortable and checked in on us. I would highly recommend her house and would easily go back again!

Fantastic place and hosts! We got in very late (1am) due to delayed flights. Nonetheless the hosts were communicative, friendly, and patient. Greeted us at the gate upon arrival even though it was so late at night. The garden outside is magical. The kids loved playing there, seeing the fish pond and plants and pet rabbit. The location is excellent for walking to a nearby beach club or public beach. It’s also super quiet at night, important for light sleepers like my wife. The place is charming, well set-up, beautifully decorated, a pleasure. Thank you for having us!!

Morgan is a very responsive host and his apartment is stunning. The scenery and view from the balcony is incredible. There are 2 comfortable bedrooms with double beds in each, easily enough room for a party of 6. Check-in and Check-out were extremely smooth (a massive thanks to Morgan's father for helping us check in earlier). You'll feel right at home and welcomed, I look forward to booking again when I next visit Nice.

We had a great time at Joelle's place. The apartment is well equipped and well located for going to the beach or taking transport. The residence is quiet and well secured, underground parking is a real plus because it is very difficult to park in Nice in summer. We were able to travel with our cat who really enjoyed the small terrace and balcony. During a future stay in Nice we will take over this apartment without hesitation! Thank you!!

Excellent value for money. Very large apartment, very well cared for, with everything very clean and tidy. The area is unbeatable with the beach and downtown nearby, and the tram to the airport right next door, with streets with public (paid) parking right there. Elevator that was always working perfectly. The appliances are modern and well maintained. Hosts always had wonderful communication! On a personal level, I was uncomfortable with the spring mattress (something hard as you have some back or neck problem), but I slept on the couch, it's very comfortable haha

Céline is really nice and helpful! She responds very quickly and is always available. She makes sure everything is perfect and that we lack nothing. The accommodation is very clean and the views are superb. The grocery store just downstairs from the building is super convenient and there are a lot of things. Beautiful apartment. Quiet but within a very short walk to everything interesting in central Nice, and easy to walk to and from the train station and tram line. Would definitely stay here again.
