Kid-friendly holiday rentals in La Chapelle-sur-Loire

We felt very lucky to be able to stay in Catherine's beautiful gite. We were made so welcome from the minute we arrived. The gite is calm, clean and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the birds and the silence. The pool was a welcome retreat during the hottest part of the day. The many trees create areas of shade whilst the flowers add colour in the many different pockets of interest. We would thoroughly recommend Catherine's gite and would love to return ourselves one day.

A very well renovated longhouse! Very clear, clean, well equipped. Carmen was so quick to respond to my questions. The place was cozy, very peaceful and full of serenity. Absolutely no complaints!

Very nice quiet house with a beautiful private garden space close to the cellars and the vineyards of Bourgueil Very well-equipped accommodation, comfortable bedding, dogs accepted so it's a plus for us. Too bad we can't park the car inside the park. Sophie is very responsive and attentive. For a trip to discover the castles and vineyards, the site is really ideal. We recommend it to amateurs looking for peace and quiet.

Sophie provided very detailed check-in instructions before check-in.After checking in, Sophie provided immediate assistance due to difficulties in using the kitchen equipment.The cottage is well equipped and we had a pleasant stay here.This is a quiet place, a typical medieval town, and the people I meet are very friendly. My friends and I love spending time here.

‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay with our family (children 1 and 3 years old). The house is in a rural location and therefore wonderfully quiet. For the children, there was plenty to do both inside and outside: toys, games, a nice garden: really ideal for young children. There are also plenty of fun outings and places to discover in the area. Everything was clean, tidy and well taken care of. We really enjoyed the tranquility, space and child-friendliness. Recommended!

This stay was a gift for my parents. We had already done this and we had the idea to offer them. Like us , they thought the place was atypical and amazing. A soothing and easy-to-reach place. A clean and well-equipped place. Nearby there is Saumur and the zoo to visit. the area is very friendly. And thank you again to the responsive hosts whose access details are clear

Fantastic place to stay in the centre of Chinon. It was great to meet Tom and his wife and he was very knowledgeable and helpful about the local area.

4 days as a family in this wonderful gite in the red house. The accommodation is very spacious and has a lot of character (classified house), ideally located for walking around Chinon and shining in the area. There are all the necessary amenities, the bedding is comfortable and the apartment tastefully decorated. Thanks to Nathalie and Vincent for their warm welcome and good advice, we'll be happy to come back!

The apartment had a lot of character and well located. One issue was that with 4 people the one bathroom was something that had to be negotiated between us, but it worked out. There is little free on street parking, but the pay rate for parking is not bad. Very accommodating host. Worked out well for us.

Best Airbnb ever. Finally!!! Alleluiah;) An Airbnb where people have thought of all the little things, we feel at home;) Go there without a second thought. Extremely clean, convenient, great bathroom, no limit on hot water as is often the case ;) Etc etc... In summary, perfect. Have a good stay everyone ;)

Excellent stay in Tours! The apartment is ideally located, a stone's throw from the train station and the convention centre. A supermarket is just down the street, which is very convenient. The residence is quiet, with a lift leading directly to the 4th and last floor. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped, and very pleasant, you immediately feel at home. A big thank you to Pauline for her responsiveness and flexibility, especially for my late arrival. I recommend it without hesitating!

We had a great stay at Stéphanie and Nicolas's. The apartment is cosy and quiet, very well located for visiting Tours without needing to take the car. We were warmly welcomed by Nicolas who took the time to advise us on the different monuments to visit and the restaurants nearby. We will be happy to come back and we highly recommend Le Ouistiti!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful overnight stay here. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Conny met us at the flat ahead of time and made sure we had everything we need. We loved having 2 bathrooms. Close to everything in Tours. Only suggestion is for a pillow and towel refresh. We would definitely stay here again!
