Holiday rentals with beach access in La Brée-les-Bains

A very nice apartment overlooking the harbour entrance - located between the Ketten and Laternenturm. The accommodation is located in a beautiful old house made of white limestone. The apartment was well ventilated by many skylights and the slopes make the apartment very charming. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a beach is 5 minutes away and the city centre of La Rochelle is also a few minutes away. We arrived by train and did a lot on foot or by rental bike. The accommodation is also within walking distance of the train station.

Stéphane is a host of great human warmth, particularly attentive and welcoming. His accommodation perfectly reflects this attention to detail: ideally located to discover the region, it offers a peaceful setting, perfectly isolated, tastefully decorated and carefully equipped. The cleanliness is impeccable, and every element seems designed to ensure a most pleasant stay. Whether you're a couple, a family or with a young child, everything is there to make you feel at home. Great Host, large and bright apartment with a very nice decor and lots of facilities. View from the window of the pretty building of the Marché des Marennes with its Baltard-style architecture and the three restaurants less than a minute away. 10 min by bike to the beach (thanks for the bike:)). The large car park at Place Carnot is 100 m away. Special mention for the layout of the apartment (there must be about twenty light points and sockets and the kitchen is used with much more than the essentials). Thank you for everything, we'll be back with pleasure.

A very central and comfortable apartment on the first floor. The location at the market and close to good coffee shops and restaurants is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, a nice shower and use of a plug in fan for hot evenings. The second bedroom is smaller but we didn’t use this. Baby facilities of a cot, changing table etc also very useful. Thank you Clotilde!

Martine's cozy attached cottage is a perfect place to stay in St. Georges. The apartment is great for two people and Martine has supplied just about any convenience you can think of. The bed was very comfortable, parking was right in front, patios in front and in back. We loved the wall of jasmine in front. It is about a 15 minute walk to the beach (shorter if you have a bike - which many people do). Also, there is a couple great restaurants close by. Martine is lovely and was very flexible with our check in time. She always got back to us very quickly. I would highly recommend this cute little beach abode.

Very nice house, very well decorated and very well-equipped. It has a holiday and relaxation atmosphere. Some inconveniences nonetheless: we hear the noise from the road which is very busy or even dangerous when you want to cross it. The wifi is only accessible in the bedrooms while it is in the living room that we use it the most. It would also be nice to offer an all-inclusive option (cleaning and bed linen) widely spread on airbnb. It is inconvenient to have to contact the concierge to order cleaning and sheets. It's still a great place!

We had a great time. Dominique gave us a very warm welcome; she is friendly and really very nice. The accommodation is as described: comfortable, well decorated, and very pleasant to live in. Saint Denis d'Oléron, less touristy than other villages on the island, seduced us with its authenticity. We'll be happy to go back. Thanks for everything Dominique.

We had a pleasant stay. We were able to enjoy the beautiful weather and take a bike ride (a shame that the rental shops in La Bree les bains are closed in low season but we were able to rent them not far away in St Denis d 'Oléron). All within walking distance. Recommended.

Celine’s house was lovely and extremely well located. The lovely restaurants of La Flotte and the local market were a short walk, and we loved biking around the island. The house itself is gorgeous. We will definitely return!

Beautiful accommodation ideally located in La Cotinière where you can walk to the main attractions. Very well equipped and very well decorated with its beautiful terrace and courtyard to park the car. Laurent's restaurant tips were well appreciated and the place is great for discovering Oléron. A big congratulations to Sébastien and Laurent, we can only recommend this beautiful accommodation!

A wonderful welcome from Clara. Stunning peaceful garden with a beautiful pool. The property was perfect with a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and great shower. A fantastic location to visit the island. Thank you .

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

Very quiet for the studio. For those who love walking, I've been spoiled. Xavier is responsive and helped me a lot. Good restaurants.

Amazing apartment on the port front in La Rochelle, with great views and in the centre of this very walkable town. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Apartment was clean and tidy with everything you need, including for travelling with a baby. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Valerie's apartment. Tastefully decorated, we were pleasantly surprised by all the little touches and equipment. Great location, we were able to do anything on foot. Living during the day but quiet at night. Not insignificant little more: private parking in a city where all spaces are paid. I recommend it. Looking forward to coming back to this little cocoon.
