Holiday rentals with beach access in Charente-Maritime

Upon our arrival, JP was there to welcome us, smiling, kind and friendly. He introduced us to the place, which was completely in line with the description of the listing. During our stay he was very discreet although always available to our requests. If you are looking for a very clean, quiet and pleasant resort, close to the sea and the centre of Royan. Functional accommodation. It is close to the centre and the beach, it is very convenient, you can do everything on foot. Check-in is very easy, everything is well explained and Lucie responds very quickly to messages. I totally recommend it. A little extra would be a clothesline, and then it would be perfect ☺️

We spent a very enjoyable week in Valerie's apartment. She and her husband welcomed us at the door even though our flight was delayed. A gift of brioche , orange juice and a locally produced aperitif was a nice touch. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything one could possibly need. it was really quiet in spite of being on the Quai which is a hive of activity. She replied to any communication within minutes. Highly recommended.

Very nice well-appointed studio with in particular the bathroom and toilet space arranged in a way that has privacy (quite rare in the accommodation👍) the outdoor spaces are simply beautiful and I would say that I place the welcome among the best I have received... human, helpful, discreet and responsive at the same time... well done to you both 🌞

The apartment is great overall for family of 4. 1 large, but shared bathroom. No separate WC. Some age on the furnishings. Well laid out and had all housewares needed. Decor is curated. Excellent location. Friendly and accommodating host. (AC would have made this an even better stay. )

Breathtaking view of the sea and a beautiful old tree at sunrise and sunset. Very clean and functional accommodation. Easy check-in and check-out thanks to the key box and exchanges with Clémence. We would recommend it in a second.

Well what a fantastic few days we had. I can’t stress what a fabulous house this is. It has everything we needed. Little garden and off road parking. It was spotless. Stéphane gave us a bottle of his home made apple juice. Absolutely delicious. Buses were very handy and very inexpensive. I can’t praise Stéphane or his house enough. A little gem of a find

Everything was perfect. Sylvie is very kind with a very warm welcome. For your information, brioche, fruit juice, tea or infusion, coffee, sugar are at our disposal, convenient for the 1st day. We'll be happy to go back.

Very pleasant stay in François' beautiful villa, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, with a superb quiet terrace and heated pool. I highly recommend it, ideal for a family stay where young and old have fun at will.

The accommodation is perfect for a stay as a couple. The beach is barely 2 minutes' walk and shops are also accessible in 5 minutes' walk. This is the perfect place to park the car and enjoy. Everything is as described with quality materials. I highly recommend it!

From booking our short notice stay, we had Benadettes full attention. Her communications were warm and welcoming. Her home is beautiful, tastefully furnished / decorated and comfortable. She welcomed our 2 dogs without any hesitation and told us where we could take them for walks. We will visit again and have already passed on the details to friends. Wonderful stay at Antoine's. The house is superb, at least as much as in the photos, quiet behind the harbor in a cul-de-sac, while being a 5-minute walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. The courtyard / terrace is a real plus, spacious, pleasant and well vegetated, as well as the winery to store things and leave more places in the house. Comfortable bedding, super well-equipped kitchen, everything is there! Lots of things to do in the Côtinière or not far away, you don't get bored, with or without children. Antoine was very responsive to the info, and so was Laurent who welcomed us. In short, great value for money!

Excellent accommodation very close to the centre of Royan and several beaches. The house had everything we needed and a great garden with a BBQ. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend at Olivier's. We were very well received, in person, in this accommodation close to the train station and close to the beaches of Royan. Everything was impeccable, Olivier was very accommodating. The small garden is super nice, for eating outside or for playing a board game. There are all the amenities inside, real separate rooms. I would this place without any restrictions.

Excellent stay in Arnaud's apartment. Very well received by Fadia. The location is perfect for going to La Rochelle in 10 minutes on foot by the sea.

Beautiful studio, very clean and well-equipped, with a good real bed and a small terrace. Well located, very close to the beaches of Vaux-sur-Mer and Saint-Palais, easily accessible on foot as well as the shops. We also enjoyed the calm, the view of the trees framing a small stretch of sea and the reserved parking. In addition, the host welcomes us in person, for once it's not a lockbox, it's appreciated.

Absolutely beautiful apartment with all the amenities you need. Extremely clean and we'll decorated. Very close to great restaurants. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Valerie's apartment. Tastefully decorated, we were pleasantly surprised by all the little touches and equipment. Great location, we were able to do anything on foot. Living during the day but quiet at night. Not insignificant little more: private parking in a city where all spaces are paid. I recommend it. Looking forward to coming back to this little cocoon.
