This beautiful quiet accommodation is located right in front of a park. You have your own entrance and private garden/terrace that is enclosed. Castricum aan Zee is rich in hiking and cycling routes in the dunes, forests and bulb fields. And our North Sea beach is easily accessible by bike. It also has a train station with Intercity connection. Alkmaar and Central Amsterdam is 20 minutes away. Cafes and restaurants are widely available in beautiful Castricum. A large shopping mall and supermarkets are open 7 days.

Waterfront B&B

A wonderful stay! The waterfront cottage is located near various amenities. A nice shopping center. The train station is a 10-minute walk, so you can be in Amsterdam in 20 minutes and in Zaanse Schans in 15 minutes. The beach, Volendam and Alkmaar are all a short distance away. You have to take care of breakfast yourself, but for delicious sandwiches you can go to the local bakery, which is within walking distance. Upon arrival, you will find various drinks in the fridge. In short, a wonderful stay!

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Het ligt op recreatiepark De Meerparel in de jachthaven van Uitgeest met mogelijkheden om te zeilen, surfen, vissen en zwemmen. De snelweg A9 is goed bereikbaar dus u bent zo in Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Haarlem of op Schiphol. Ook het strand van Castricum is binnen 15 minuten te bereiken.

Free parking on the street or in a private parking lot if there is no space in the street.

Enjoy the nature reserve and the mills while walking in the immediate vicinity. Bus stop for public transport to Amsterdam is 50 meters away, 30 minutes to the center of Amsterdam! The price includes bed linen, kitchen linen, bath towels and taxes.

This unique accommodation has an entirely private style. It is an old beach cottage that has become a beautiful contemporary cottage, with a fantastic view over the meadows. From your bed you look through the French doors to the meadows and you can enjoy the morning sun. At the front, you can see the "Stelling van Amsterdam" and over the meadows. From the terrace you can enjoy the sunset. Really a beautiful place.
