Experience an unforgettable stay in our log cabin situated right on the lake shore, offering an idyllic setting near the village of Ytterån, along with close proximity to Östersund (35 km) and the picturesque mountains and Åre (65 km). Surrounded by a beautifully natural scenery, nestled on the edge of a farm where life with children, three sled dogs, cats, and chickens can be experienced up close, our house promises unique holiday experiences and pure relaxation away from everyday life. The interior of the house is characterized by a warm, inviting atmosphere, created by large panoramic windows that offer breathtaking views of the lake, and a cozy soapstone stove. Covering 85 m², you will find two welcoming bedrooms and additional rooms, each decorated with attention to detail. The heart of the house is a large, light-flooded room that harmoniously combines the kitchen area, dining table, and a cozy corner couch around the stove. Especially on cooler days, the stove, which uses a water reservoir to heat the entire house, provides comfortable warmth and coziness. For entertainment on less sunny days, there’s also a smart TV. The outdoor area of our house offers a variety of activities and relaxation opportunities. Guests who love the water can make use of our lakeside hot tub for a small fee or try their hand at fishing, where lucky anglers can often catch pike, perch, grayling, and trout. Our location in a shallow bay ensures safe access for children and allows for warmer swimming temperatures in the summer than usual in this region. Discover the natural beauty of the surroundings with a canoe, on foot, or explore the frozen expanses of the lake in winter. The area invites you to enjoy a wide range of activities all year round, from hikes in the nearby forests and mountains to cultural excursions to Östersund, where museums and festivals await you.

Perfect for the family, friends or a relaxing weekend just the two of you in front of the fireplace and the nice view. Ski in, ski out for cross-country skiing - where the cabin's sauna awaits after finishing the ride. A stone's throw from the cabin is a nice disc golf course, exercise tracks and excursions. 35 km to Åre, 32 km to Trillevallen, 50 km to Bydalen. Grocery store (ICA), gas station (OKQ8), café is located in the village of Mörsil.

Cozy cottage on Lake Storsjön

Relax in this unique and quiet home located only 15 min from Östersund and 25 min from Åre/Östersund airport. 1h drive to Åre or Bydalen. The cottage is located on the south-facing shore of the Great Lake. Linen and towels is included in the price. Friggebod with 4 extra beds. Canoe and wood-fired hot tub are available to rent for an additional cost and as agreed. Firewood is not included in the price. Available for purchase at, for example, gas stations. You have access to everything. 15 minutes by bus number 6 into the central station. On the way there you will pass by Jamtli and Ica Maxi. Ski stadium is 4km away. Across the street is a forest area. Nice ski tracks in the winter. Idyll to have a walk in summer. Our hot tub may be used. During the period June until September, it can be found. For 4 people. Sauna for relaxation. Or why not just light a fire? The trampoline for the active children is also welcome to use. Everything happens on your own risk.

Villa in family-friendly Sånghusvallen, just outside Östersund. It sleeps 4-5 people with room for more. With soccer goals, countless footballs, trampoline and hot tub on the spacious terrace, there is something to do for most in the family. In the garden you will also find fresh spices, strawberries, wild strawberries and other small and good summer time. We moved in late 2020 so we dare say that the property corresponds to the vast majority of expectations you can have on a newly built house.

Our modern log house is situated right on a lakeshore. The open-concept design with lots of wood and light creates a warm, friendly atmosphere. On 85m2 you'll find panoramic windows with a fantastic view on the lake, a soap stone fireplace, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Enjoy fishing, paddling, swimming, hiking and x-country skiing right in front of your doorstep! Our neighbouring little farm with our kids, three sled dogs, three cats, a garden and chickens can induce a farm holiday experience.

Back to nature? Away from work and the crowd? When you arrive at our home you will enjoy the enormous space and tranquility. At night you will be visited by deer, foxes and moose (if you don't make too much noise) and you will completely relax in the sauna (overlooking the forest) or the jacuzzi. Read a good book? You can do this in front of the fireplace in the easy chair or on the couch watching Netflix. You start an endless walk in the forest behind the house.

Välkommen till vårat familjevänliga hus i ett lugnt och mysigt villaområde nära naturen och stan. Här bor du med 10 minuters bilresa intill Östersunds stadskärna. Boendet har 4 sovrum med upp till 7 sängplatser, vardagsrum, allrum på övervåningen, fullutrustat kök, två fräscha badrum samt gym, jacuzzi och grillplats.
