Fishermen, look this way! Welcome to our very beautifully located little cottage, about 15 meters from the fish-rich river Långan. The cabin is located just under 2 km downstream of the well-known Lake Landösjön. The cottage is completely renovated, but of the simpler kind, with a small stove, no electricity, kerosene lamps for lighting, a gas stove and an outhouse. In the storage room you will find outdoor furniture for 4 people, a barbecue, an axe, etc. It is also possible to make a fire down by the shore, firewood is in the woodshed. In the river, you will find mainly trout and grayling.

Forget all everyday worries in this peaceful accommodation. 8 km from Östersund city center. 3 km from the nearest bus stop, so having your own car is preferable. Here you live in a newly-renovated timber house 25 m from the shore of Lake Storsjön. The ground floor (with underfloor heating) has a modern fully-equipped kitchen adjacent to the living room. Bathroom with shower. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, the largest has a double bed. In the other bedrooms there is a 120 cm and a 90 cm wide bed. Extra beds are available. The guests clean up after themselves.

In the summer, you can swim in crystal clear water at the swimming jetty just near the house, or take a nice walk along the lake. Proximity to excellent fishing waters, mountains, berry and mushroom forests. In the neighboring village of Laxsjö, there is a grocery store that is praised for its nice service and selection. Rislägden in Åre municipality is a paradise in summer and winter. Bright and nice summer evenings around the campfire, snowmobile and winter activities in winter. Kallsjön is right outside the living room window, with the possibility of fishing. Hunting grounds in the hills and mountains around. Amazing views of the lake and Åreskutan. 12 km to Järpen city center. Possibility for cross-country skiing in the illuminated track, swimming pool and Curling hall. 19 km to Huså, 30 km to Åre/Bjørnen, which is known for its slalom slopes.

Something happens to us when we take the time to just be. Living a somewhat simple life for a while without having to give up all the comforts, for that matter. Letting go of everyday worries, putting your phone away, and allowing yourself to be enchanted by your surroundings. Lighting a fire, canoeing, looking out over the water's edge from the edge of the bed as even the beaver can swim by sometimes, boil coffee and cook over an open fire. Our neighbouring little farm with our kids, three sled dogs, three cats, a garden and chickens can induce a farm holiday experience.
