There is a nice place to stay in a quiet location about 2 km from Stein, Art Mile, Danube University and the Danube. The apartment is ideal for 2-4 guests, but can accommodate up to max. 5 guests. The location in the Alauntal, surrounded by forest and stream, impresses with seclusion and the garden to relax and play. Unfortunately, you don't have a cell phone network in the house and bad cell phone in the garden. For athletes, there are over 1000 climbing routes (see travel guide) as well as beautiful cycling routes (bike room available).

It is fully furnished with a nice bathroom, underfloor heating and a double bed, ideally usable for singles and couples. A crib and bicycles are available upon request. In the immediate vicinity of the Danube beach and forest, where there are many cycling and hiking trails. By car 15 min. to Krems, 40 min. by bus.

Forget your worries at this small and quiet place at the foot of the Jauerling not far from the Wachau. The narrow Danube Valley is famous as a world heritage site and feel-good landscape with a special climate. The hiking region of Jauerling offers 350 km of marked hiking trails. On 1,296 hectares, distinctive wines grow mostly on steep terraces. Maria Laach is a pilgrimage site.

Micro house in Krems-Süd

Due to the positive experiences as Airbnb hosts, we converted the smallest barn on our property into a tiny house in 2020-2022. We planned and built everything ourselves and hope our guests will feel comfortable and enjoy their time in Krems and the Wachau! Perfect accommodation for quiet and relaxing days in the dreamy Waldviertel. Two donkeys, a couple of chickens, and two ducks can be observed daily from the garden of the property. In less than 15 minutes by car, Lake Ottenstein invites you to swim or the Ottenstein golf course with restaurant to enjoy. Inn culture, castles, palaces and local businesses are very close.
