Absolutely amazing spot & even better hosts. My husband and I came to Iceland for a vow renewal after having to change our wedding plans due to COVID 5 years ago (we originally planned an elopement in Iceland), and Anthony went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time, and we did! Overall, this was an absolutely outstanding stay. Every single thing we needed was managed quickly & Anthony went beyond anything we could have asked to take care of us. Plus, the airbnb itself was so charming. Definitely recommend if looking for a quaint port town close the Reykjavik! I wouldn’t come here for a more isolated experience or to get away from the hustle of Reykjavik, but I think the port town was a great alternative to staying in Reykjavik itself.

This was, without question, the most incredible Airbnb I have ever stayed at. The house is so private and cozy, the surroundings are absolutely gorgeous, and the views are amazing from every angle. I was so sad to leave that I was actually crying as we drove away. I hope to be back someday, this is such a special spot.

The apartment was very clean and cozy and in my opinion the location is very achievable in and out if you have a car and plan to take day trips in basically any direction. Kitchen i.e. had everything(and more) you need for cooking. Comfy sofa for relaxing after a long day out. Groceryshop is like 150m away and has a good selection of items including own section for vegan stuff. We had absolutely no issues during our residence here and would definately pick this one again in the future. Highly recommended

Comfortable bed, good shower, nice patio if the weather had permitted. Good location for visiting the Golden Circle and South Coast. Grocery store very close.

Stay here just like home. Great area to live and very quiet. There are several supermarkets and restaurants around. Dagmar is very responsive and definitely a great host with very good taste for home!

This was our favorite Airbnb to date!! Just an unbelievably beautiful location and luxurious accommodation. The host was very communicative and welcoming.

The apartment was great: clean, close to shops and restaurants, and in a quiet neighborhood. It was peaceful and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and at night, it was quiet. We were able to make coffee in the morning with no issue. We loved our stay and were able to get an earlier check in, which was so kind. So appreciate it!

Very good location,it’s 10 minutes from city center and Pétur is so kind and responsive. Quick,easy and comfortable check in. The neighbourhood is nice and there is a grocery store at the corner. I would definitely recommend Pétur’s place.

Zeer fijn verblijf op een mooie centrale locatie bij Reykjavik, 10 minuten zit je in het centrum, en 10 minuten zit je ook op de ringweg. Vanaf luchthalen zeer goed bereikbaar en eenvoudig te vinden. Accomodatie is simpelweg perfect, zeer luxe, knus en super netjes. Keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien, badkamer is compleet, slapen is heerlijk en rustig, weinig tot eigenlijk geen geluid. Woongedeelte is echt heel leuk ingericht en de televisie (alhoewel weinig tot niet gebruikt), is ook perfect. Zeer, zeer tevreden ik zou iedereen aanbevelen om hier te verblijven. De host Sara is bereikbaar en behulpzaam. 5/5, de volgende keer zal ik zeker weer hier verblijven.

Sehr schöne,geräumige,große Wohnung mit allem was man benötigt. Die Kommunikation war perfekt und Hólmfríður sehr flexibel,wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Great place close to Reykjavik

Tina was a great host, very responsive and answered all questions fast. The place was very clean. The location is great for those who have rented their own car and want to do day trips from Reykjavík and skip the morning traffic. Also, there is a bus stop right outside so if you want to go downtown without a car it's easy.

L'appartement de Sunneva est spacieux, propre et lumineux. Il dispose de tout ce que l'on a besoin. Elle répond de suite aux messages, nous avons pu faire le check-in plus tôt. Sunneva nous a accueilli avec gentillesse et nous a fait visiter l'appartement. Je recommande cet hébergement

Nous avons passés 4 très bonnes nuits dans le logement. L’appartement est spacieux, il y a tout le nécessaire disponible. La literie est très confortable ! Björgvin été toujours très réactif lorsque je lui demandais des renseignements, on a même eu le doit à un petit paquet de gâteaux pour l’accueil. Place de parking juste devant le logement, très facile d’accès. Je recommande lors de votre passage à Reykjavík !

Die Ferienwohnung entspricht voll und ganz der Beschreibung. Sie liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend am Stadtrand von Reykjavik. Alles was man braucht, ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Parken vor der Tür ist kein Problem.

We elected to stay away from the city centre and use this accommodation as our base whilst we went out in a hire car to explore Iceland (which is amazing BTW). The accommodation was modern with all the required facilities, clean, warm and comfortable. Access was easy and it had a parking bay outside the front door. My measure of a good AirBnB is would I go back and in this instance yes I would and I therefore can recommend it to anyone visiting the Island and needs a base to explore from.

My husband and I stayed with Asta Soley near the end of our Iceland trip and we greatly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very spacious with a lovely kitchen and the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas. Blackout curtains worked great with the amount of sunlight. Host was also super quick to respond with any questions we had! Would for sure stay here again.

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a great amount of space for our family to spread out after so much plane and car time. Comfy couch, lots of table space, free of clutter, soft beds, nice bathroom, kind host, close to grocery store, it was just what we needed and a good price.

We had a great time staying with Hrafnhildur. It was was easy to communicate with our host and they recommended things to do nearby which we did do while there. Their trampoline was a big hit with my 2 and 3 year old and they could run free in the backyard without worry at the end of long car ride days. We also appreciated the close proximity to the ocean where we could walk along the coast in a peaceful neighborhood with local . I had a rental and we never had an issue finding parking in front of the airbnb. My family and I travelled as far as fjaorargljufur canyon and as far as arnarstapi and the golden circle with no issue getting back to our airbnb every night. We highly recommend staying with this host, their kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked and we were able to make home cooked meals while there. Thank you Hrafnhildur for letting us stay with you while we made memories with our kids and soaked in Icelands beauty. We look forward to coming back to keep exploring!
