I had a fantastic New Year in a beautiful Nordic family home. Jön's accommodation was beautiful and a wonderful resting place. It was fantastic to stay here in Iceland.

We enjoyed our stay at the lovely house. Our highlight was for sure the lovely living area with its huge windows to watch the ocean and the arriving planes as well as fabulous whirlpool :)

Great home! Very stylish and comfortable. We felt very at home here. The hot tub was a great place to relax at the end of the day.

Great communication, beautiful home. We had everything we needed. Views were amazing. Close to lots of stores and restaurants. Klara was a gracious host, very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We plan to come back in the summer next year and will stay here again. Thank you for everything!

Great location and very responsive host. We stayed at this apartment for 4 nights and was a good home base for all our activities. Relatively close to a couple of the official pick-up spots for tours.

This place was amazing. I would rank it a 6 out of 5. Gunnar was wonderful. He even managed to let us get in a little earlier which was welcome after a 6 hr flight and coming in at 6:30 am. This is the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. It is in a 1903 house which insider is modern with everything you would want including an expresso machine. It is truly someones home and has that feeling. It is in a great location. My only regret is that we stayed only 2 nights. I retrospectivily wish we had booked for longer. I look forward to staying here again

Daniel was an amazing host who was responsive and helpful. The house is comfortable and homely and close to restaurants and with great parking would highly recommend.

This was such an amazing place! The views from the back were amazing, perfect view of the city, yet super close to the city - less than 5 minutes to get there! We also had 3 kids with us, they loved the hot tub and exploring the backyard. Loved our stay here and would stay again.

We stayed here for our last night in Iceland to get to our flight the next day. Sunna's place is clean, neat, and cozy stay for all your short-term Reykjavik needs. Also, the neighborhood was really nice, peaceful and walkable. Overall, we had a great stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin for three nights and felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The cabin was very well-equipped, which made our stay comfortable and easy – we truly appreciated the attention to detail. A special thank you to the owner for accommodating our last-minute booking due to an error on our part. Your flexibility and kindness made a big difference and did not go unnoticed. If we ever return to Iceland, we would be more than happy to come back to this special little place.

Una was an excellent host, she always responded to our communications promptly. Checking in was a breeze no hassles, her instructions were clear and accurate. Location was absolutely perfect close to everything including shops, groceries, restaurants and bars. The house was truly charming cozy and very very clean. It was very comfortable and relaxing staying there. I would definitely consider staying there if I visited Reykjavík again in future.

We spent two nights at Guðbjörg’s place before heading to the airport, and it was the perfect spot for a short stay. The home looked exactly like the photos—very clean, thoughtfully arranged, and set in a quiet, peaceful area with convenient parking right outside. Check-in was smooth, and Guðbjörg was quick to respond and helpful throughout our stay. The space was ideal for our family of four. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Having a grocery store nearby was a nice bonus for picking up essentials. Overall, it was a calm and comfortable stay, and we’d happily recommend it to others. We just wish we had a bit more time to enjoy the place!

Very large home. Excellent instructions. Responsive host. Close to attractions downtown. Google maps instructions were a bit off, but easy to find one on the correct street. We would definitely stay at this home again.

Gilsi and Johanna were exceptional hosts - very responsive and welcoming. Their home is beautiful and well situated in a quiet neighborhood that is easily accessible to Reykjavik and the amazing sites that Iceland has to offer. The house is perfect for families with young children and our group (4 adults and 5 kids) had everything we needed and then some! One thing to note - there is only one bathroom with a shower and tub, the other being a half bath. It didn't impact our trip greatly but may be an important thing to note if you need more shower facilities for your group.

Unnur's house was absolutely beautiful! Clean, peaceful, and lots of space. Great location as well! The home was exactly as described and photographed. Unnur was exceptionally responsive, accommodating, and very helpful. We highly recommend this Airbnb for a lovely stay just outside of downtown Reykjavik.

Eva Maria's house just outside Reykjavik was a fantastic home for our Iceland vacation. The location was perfect: only ten minutes to the city center while also avoiding traffic in and out of the Golden Circle. The house is very spacious, well-equipped for cooking and cleaning, and has eye-catching decorations along with a wonderful view of the city and ocean. Additionally, Eva Maria and her husband were excellent hosts with great communication, generosity, and friendliness. They even took the time to pick up thoughtful English language children's books from the library for our kids, which was a very considerate gesture. The stay was flawless, and I have no doubt that I'll be back during our next stay in Reykjavik.

We started our fantastic trip to Iceland with easy to reach Eva’s (Hostess’s) address. There was off street parking, easy access to the property via a key safe and most importantly flexible check in. There was a supermarket (called Bonus) with a 5 minute walk from the property. The house itself was clean, bright and beautiful with every facility that one would have wanted in a fully equipped home. This included fresh towels, fully equipped kitchen and appliances (Coffee machine was a bonus although we didn’t use it)She gave us the freedom to help ourselves if required with her personal spice cupboard too (Thank you Eva). The property was spacious, warm and superbly comfortable. We were 5 in our family and had everything that we needed or wanted. Most importantly she was quick to respond to us with suggestions, directions and local tips. All tourist attractions in the south west were easily accessible and especially the Golden Circle. She also made sure that we had local help if needed.
