Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ko Lanta Yai

We absolutely loved staying at Deborah’s place in Sala Dan, from start to finish it was a great experience. Deborah was very quick to reply and assist with a seamless check in, and then the property itself was fantastic. Spotlessly clean and the views of Lanta were incredible from the verandah outside. The property is a bit set back from the Main Street but this made it even more peaceful and was easy to navigate down on foot or with scooters! Highly recommend this place for a group of friends or family, the separate annexe provides extra privacy for those who need it!

This is a homestay inside an old city alley, it's nice to find it, it's the old city, and it's character!The interior of the room is clean and tidy, it is a little flawed but imperfect. The owner is very warm and well taken care of. Our needs are met as much as possible, a very good room!

Ake is an amazing host, kind and polite. He really went above and beyond as a host and it's what made our stay memorable, enjoyable and stress-free. He arranged transport for us from Krabi Airport to & fro, and also to all the places we wanted to visit, and recommended places that were good too. Sala Dan town has good street food and there are seafood restaurants where you can dine by the water-front. Ake's place is situated on a rustic, small hill top and the surroundings were serene and peaceful. The room is clean and simple. Very comfortable king bed. Ko Lanta - Gem of an Island.

We enjoyed our one month stay in this villa. You can hang around outside in an open space and the place don’t get hot during the day. It is very private and quiet with great pool in the area. For cooking daily kitchen facilities would need an upgrade. Everything i requested was kindly delivered. You need to watch out monkeys which try to steal food from kitchen if door is open. Fantastic Stay! With this property you are basically paying for one of the best views in Thailand! However you will need a car to access this property, without one you would be pretty stuck. The building itself is a unique and interesting design, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it but all was good! Pakawadee and her family were very helpful throughout our stay. If you love finding hidden gems that are authentic and away from tourist hell, then look no further than this place! Fully Reccomend!

The host was very kind and due to our flights, we had an early check-in and late check-out. The house is great, everything was clean and welcoming. It is one of several villas in that road with security. Short walk to the beach, also to go shopping. This villa was right beside the tennis court (they could have painted that grey concrete wall as you are looking straight onto it when sitting outside). We have been there in the green season, so not many villas occupied at that time. When in the pool or around the pool area, you won't have a lot of privacy when every villa is booked, so we have been lucky at that time of the year. Staff was very friendly and helpful, always smiling and really nothing to complain. We would go there again! Thank you very much :0)

My stay at this airbnb was great. the property is beautiful, the views are amazing. The home was clean and the host was flexible with check in and check out. We enjoyed our stay.

Suraida has been nothing short of an an excellent host. Her lovely bungalow, situated conveniently close to Lanta Old Town and surrounded by mangrove forest stood out as one of the highlights of my trip. You‘ll definitely need a scooter though, which was promptly delivered to me upon my arrival. The rooms were well maintained and clean, and the facilities were exactly as described. It‘s been a pleasure staying here - highly recommended.

the hospitality was great. the room was as described and clean. it is possible to rent scooters and excursions directly with Sofiya. also wash your laundry. the beach is a 5-minute walk.

Super nice apartment with two balconies, the big one was perfect to hang out on! The location is quiet and everything was fresh and well-equipped. The bathroom felt luxurious and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plus for the rooftop pool, so lovely! You really get value for your money, highly recommended.

Stayed in Fahad's room for 4 nights and had a great time. 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach and close to an array of beautiful restaurants.ta for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Would highly recommend a stay at Fahad's accommodation and would look to stay again if we come back to Koh Lanta.

We had an amazing month-long stay. The house is clean, has great WiFi (perfect for remote work), and an incredible sea view with the most beautiful sunsets. Just 10 mins to the beach — we loved Prae Ae and the coffee at Escape Cafe. Oliver is a fantastic host: super helpful, communicative, and even drove us to pick up our bike. Grateful for the early check-in, late check-out, and the beers in the fridge — such thoughtful touches. The friendly house dog kept monkeys away and was a sweet presence. Note: the hill is steep, so be confident on a motorbike. Monkeys can be around but weren’t a problem. Only the bedroom has A/C, and April was hot — just something to be aware of. Overall, this place is excellent value and we’d love to return!

Very comfortable stay in a great, central location. Air con worked well and common areas were very laid back and quiet.

When we arrived there was a problem with the original apartment we were going to stay in, so was upgraded to a beautiful apartment with beach views. Jonas was very quick to apologise and make sure we were happy with the changes. The new apartment didn't have a washing machine, but they were very happy for us to use a different one in the building. The apartment was one of the nicest apartments we've stayed in and just a stone throw away from the beach. There were local restaurants within walking distance, and the newly renovated pool was an absolute dream! Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to the COVID-19 situation (Jonas was a huge help during this time and really went out of his way for us). The location was perfect, and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful get away in Koh Lanta!

Jon is a super guy - very helpful and always friendly! The place is just perfect for exploring the area! It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach - Long beach, just fantastic! Perfect stay with 2 adults and 2 kids. Is exactly like the photos. Nothing more needed to say. It was beautiful. Drinking water provided which was a nice touch. Only slight thing was the paying for electricity and water at the end of the stay. We stayed for 5 nights and our bill was 2400 baht (£60) which seemed a bit steep, but to be fair we know nothing about the cost of these amenities. If you are going to koh lanta, you should 100% stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was large, had a nice view of the pool, partial view of the sunset/water and had a large patio with comfy chairs. We appreciated the daily water and access to the pool. The location is peaceful and close to many restaurants and the beach. You have to walk up a slight hill but it’s short and once you get to your room the AC will quickly cool you off. Our host was responsive with any questions we had and even asked if we’d like to switch rooms and move to the top floor. The staff are very kind and helpful. Some downsides were that taxis and Tuk Tuks drop you off/pick you up at the bottom of the hill. We didn’t keep our doors open, quickly closed them as we came in/out but a lot of pesky mosquitoes still got in. It was a nice quiet building (3 floors with 5 units on each) but we always heard the people above us walking which was quite disruptive, especially when we were trying to sleep. We would be happy to stay again!

Safina's place is just the best place I've ever been during my travels. she treats her guests as family. we had an amazing time at her place.

Quiet clean and by the beach as well as food

really good apartment, perfect for families with children. Close to the beach, however, you had to walk 100 meters to the right on the beach, as the beach just below the front filled with rocks. The only downside was that there were no pool towels, as promised, nor could they be provided during the 17 days we were there. The power is EXPENSIVE so please be aware. We didn't use very much air conditioning and we paid 2500 bath for the 17 days.

Once again, the Blue House for us has been the perfect setting for months of stay. The Blue House is well equipped for longer stays and if anything is missing, Yanitha is both English speaking, helpful and caring. The house, where you have the upper floor to yourself, is located in a lovely peaceful setting, and the promise of the landscape there is both airiness and views, and still only a less than 10 minute walk to the beach and beach life in Kantiang. 5 stars from us.

I was able to stay so comfortably during my stay. I hope you come again and rest comfortably. ^ ^
