Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ko Lanta District

We absolutely loved staying at Deborah’s place in Sala Dan, from start to finish it was a great experience. Deborah was very quick to reply and assist with a seamless check in, and then the property itself was fantastic. Spotlessly clean and the views of Lanta were incredible from the verandah outside. The property is a bit set back from the Main Street but this made it even more peaceful and was easy to navigate down on foot or with scooters! Highly recommend this place for a group of friends or family, the separate annexe provides extra privacy for those who need it!

Ake was the best host ever! He picked us up and took us to the port. She gave lots of helpful tips for Koh Lanta. Ake helped us with everything possible and brought us a great breakfast every morning on the balcony. The apartment was clean and the location was wonderfully peaceful. The scenery was stunning. Ake rented us a scooter that was easy to get from one place to another. The window home was perfect in every way and the best we've ever been!

We stayed at Anna’s house for 3 days. The house is nestled without the local community of Sala Dan and the neighbours were super kind and helpful. Location is close to a lot of dive shots in the community. The house features a very elegant design. Will def come back for my next visit in Ko Lanta. Thanks for everything Anna Kurt & Friends

We enjoyed our one month stay in this villa. You can hang around outside in an open space and the place don’t get hot during the day. It is very private and quiet with great pool in the area. For cooking daily kitchen facilities would need an upgrade. Everything i requested was kindly delivered. You need to watch out monkeys which try to steal food from kitchen if door is open. Thank you Matahari villa team!🙏🏻

The host was very kind and due to our flights, we had an early check-in and late check-out. The house is great, everything was clean and welcoming. It is one of several villas in that road with security. Short walk to the beach, also to go shopping. This villa was right beside the tennis court (they could have painted that grey concrete wall as you are looking straight onto it when sitting outside). We have been there in the green season, so not many villas occupied at that time. When in the pool or around the pool area, you won't have a lot of privacy when every villa is booked, so we have been lucky at that time of the year. Staff was very friendly and helpful, always smiling and really nothing to complain. We would go there again! Thank you very much :0)

My stay at this airbnb was great. the property is beautiful, the views are amazing. The home was clean and the host was flexible with check in and check out. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Khem and Sam’s place with our two daughters (2 and 5 years old). We always felt welcome and Khem was super helpful and warm. We cooked together which was a fantastic experience. The location is beautifully located in the nature with lots of things to explore for kids, but also just a short walk to the town. We had a wonderful time!

the hospitality was great. the room was as described and clean. it is possible to rent scooters and excursions directly with Sofiya. also wash your laundry. the beach is a 5-minute walk.

Super nice apartment with two balconies, the big one was perfect to hang out on! The location is quiet and everything was fresh and well-equipped. The bathroom felt luxurious and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plus for the rooftop pool, so lovely! You really get value for your money, highly recommended.

It was a perfect house for us. Because it's located near many restaurants and seven eleven it was perfect for us. the house was very clean and very well maintained. Thank you Pete for your hospitality.

We had an amazing month-long stay. The house is clean, has great WiFi (perfect for remote work), and an incredible sea view with the most beautiful sunsets. Just 10 mins to the beach — we loved Prae Ae and the coffee at Escape Cafe. Oliver is a fantastic host: super helpful, communicative, and even drove us to pick up our bike. Grateful for the early check-in, late check-out, and the beers in the fridge — such thoughtful touches. The friendly house dog kept monkeys away and was a sweet presence. Note: the hill is steep, so be confident on a motorbike. Monkeys can be around but weren’t a problem. Only the bedroom has A/C, and April was hot — just something to be aware of. Overall, this place is excellent value and we’d love to return!

Very comfortable stay in a great, central location. Air con worked well and common areas were very laid back and quiet.

After another place fell through because of mold and bedbugs we found this place and were allowed us an early check in so we didn’t miss a day at the pool and beach :) Very comfortable beds and AC, very spacious for our family. Pool is extremely clean and has some shade most of the day. A quick safe walk to the beach and the on site restaurant was good. Appreciated the laundry service and help with transfers through the front desk.

The house was just amazing. There was 3 of us staying so we had so much space. Rath was really helpful in explaining to our taxi driver where to come… as the house is set back in the hills. Rath also helped us hire motorbikes and also book a taxi to take us to the port on the day we checked out . The pool was a godsend….somewhere to cool off and chill. In early morning we had monkey visitors too. There is an outside seating area … so we could sit back and watch the sun go down. We had a great stay… thanks you! We would recommend this for anyone coming from the city, craving a view! It’s very central but far enough to be peaceful. The rooms have slightly different views, they are as pictured. There’s also a roof to go to. Our host was incredibly accommodating and so easy to communicate with. I asked her a lot of questions and even had a couple of mishaps and she was never bothered — just helpful, kind, and full of local recommendations. Honestly, I don’t usually expect this level of hospitality, it was such a lovely surprise. The room itself was super clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I would just warn that it’s on top of a hill. So while there are many things in walking distance, the walk back is up hill. We scootered and took taxis.

The accommodation was close to the city centre and quiet, the apartments are residential so there were no party places around. Very nice and functional, I recommend❤️

This place was everything that it was advertised. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and some of the islands. The place was spotless and we felt like we were at home Since we were on a hill, there was a Taxi golf cart to take us up and down when needed.. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a comfortable accommodation in Ao Nang. If we plan to go back, we will certainly escape at this condominium if it’s still available.

very happy with my stay at ao nang. it was a lovely cosy apartment with everything you need for up to 4 people. the dividing wall was amazing during the evenings, and the location is perfect; a short walk from the main strip. mirka was very helpful too when I had a question. would highly reccomend
