Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kingsbridge

This was my third stay at Amy’s and won’t be the last. The home is outstanding and the back beach on your doorstep, the town is less than a few minutes away and all you need there. We actually only rented the property for a day to do a photoshoot for our business, so we didn't stay over. However we wished we were. It's a really cool house, much bigger than I was expecting. Would be a great place to stay with friends or family, plenty of space to gather and hang out. It was actually pouring with rain when we were there but the house felt really cosy and airy and spacious. I felt like if we were on holiday and it was raining it would be a great house to hang out in not cramped and stuck inside.

We spend a week at Ringmore, but could have easily stayed several weeks due to the lovely atmosphere of the cottage, the village and the attractive surrounding. House and garden are beautiful. You can feel at home instantly. The house is bright and friendly and well equipped. The beautiful surrounding invites to stray around, walk to the beach, enjoy the landscape, walk the coastal path starting from the house at Ayrmer Cove, a small beach with amazing rocks. And have dinner at the Journeys End Inn with a very nice variety of food and of course ales. There are many more things to explore: lovely villages, churches, cathedrals, ports, gardens, museums, estuarys, Dartmoor, great coast ... The host Anna was very nice and gave us lots of information. Thanks a lot for staying at this special place and experiencing a wonderful atmosphere!

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

We recently stayed at Amy and Luke's property for four nights and had a wonderful time. Everything was as described and the beds were very comfortable and the duvets big and fluffy. Whilst there isnt parking available at the property, there are lots of on street parking, or car park options, nearby (although it seems the council have just put up the prices for most of these!). There are also stair gates at the property which were very handy for stopping my inquisitive dog from exploring the upstairs terrain. it was also very helpful to have a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Will definitely be booking again next time we plan a Kingsbridge trip!

Thank you for arranging the beds as we requested. We were extremely comfortable and all slept well. I hope everything was left to your standards. A beautiful apartment with genuinely stunning views from the balcony and living room. The amenities are excellent, and the hosts fab!

We had a fab stay with our Whippet. Home was as described and communication was great. Had the pleasure of meeting Phil during our stay and enjoyed talking to him about the conversion. BBQ was a bonus, very secure garden (in our opinion) and we felt right at home once we got there. Would absolutely stay again - thanks!

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

Lovely place to stay. The kids loved eating breakfast on the little balcony.

We had an amazing stay at Lesley’s. I wish we could have stayed longer. There was so much to do in the local areas. The caravan was spot on, lovely and clean and we were very grateful for the little hamper and milk when we arrived. Everything was clean and tidy and we particularly loved all the fleecy blankets for that extra cosy touch. Thank you Lesley. Would 100% recommend and stay again

A lovely little cottage in beautiful surroundings, if you're looking for a quite peaceful break or a base to explore it is ideally situated, Sarah was a very helpful and responsive host, would definitely stay again.

Yet again we had a fantastic break in this great holiday home. This is our third visit and ready to book again for next year (if they will have us ) lol. Keep up the great job in hosting that you both do so well, and thanks again Ted.

The cottage and location were just perfect for us with a great mixture of peaceful countryside surroundings, pool, games room and easy access to multiple beaches for seaside adventures with our primary aged kids. Judy was very responsive to any questions we had prior to our stay. The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and clean with underfloor heating in the bathroom a bonus!

It was a privilege to stay in this beautiful family home. The location was sublime, peaceful and idyllic. The quirky access was amusing and great to be so close to the Ferry Boat Inn. The house had everything you could wish for and more!

This is a beautiful, spacious and quiet cottage nestled in the countryside. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable and the swimming pool on-site is a fantastic bonus and well managed with a rota system. We had a wonderful family stay here and enjoyed all south Devon has to offer.

We had a fantastic time at Brook House Barn. It is in the most beautiful location, within easy driving distance of all the places we wanted to visit- Salcombe, Kingsbridge, Dartmouth, Blackpool Sands and other lovely beaches. The barn is a fantastic property- small but perfect for our family of 4- and has exceptional outside space with a lovely garden to play in, patio to sit & eat and views to the fields beyond. In the evenings having the bifold doors extended the day & was so peaceful to sit & look out. John is the loveliest host- warm, welcoming & friendly- and really did go out of his way to make things easier for us, nothing was too much trouble & we are so grateful to him putting up with our noisy boys & dog who wasn't a fan of the cows! He also had great recommendations for places to go & we can thoroughly recommend Salcombe Cruises too where you may recognise the skipper!

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge on Mary Mills Farm. It was very calm, peaceful and private with beautiful views. It looks a lot nicer than the pictures. Would definitely go back.

Lindsey and Ray were so welcoming and we immediately felt very comfortable and at home. The house was extremely clean and had absolutely everything you could possibly need and more. The location is peaceful. We could park by the door and instructions for arrival were concise and accurate. The garden and outside space are all beautifully maintained , and there’s a spar shop just opposite for any supplies you might need. We loved being there and can highly recommend a stay with these lovely, accommodating and generous hosts.

Excellent stay at the pod. Compact but with all facilities needed for 2 people. Ideally situated within walking distance to Kingsbridge.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this gorgeous property. Lovely treats on arrival, with fresh flowers in every room. Snuggly lounge for our evenings and sunny kitchen area in the afternoons. The kitchen was fully stocked for our cooking needs. We both had a great couple of night’s sleep in the front bedroom and found no road noise to disturb us. The bed was super large and exceptionally comfortable. Julia was a wonderful & helpful host answering all of our queries. Try sunset drinks at The Crabshell Pub on the estuary and if you like Mexican there’s an excellent small friendly restaurant at the bottom of the road which we loved.

What an amazing place to stay, the property is absolutely perfect, it contains everything you need, perfect size & extremely clean, it really was home from home. The location is fantastic, with all of the key areas being so easily accessible. Emily & her family were lovely, really helpful & it was a absolute pleasure to meet them and stay within their property. Thank you so much & I hope to see you again soon!

Beautiful flat - clean and with lovely decor - overlooking the estuary. Balcony off the sitting room has table and chairs to sit outside. Next door to a great pub Crabshell Inn and only short walk into Kingsbridge. We went to Start Point and Salcombe too. Would definitely come back again, Paul, Helen, Hannah and William

We loved our stay at Pear Tree Lodge. The house has a bright open feel, a slightly unique layout on two levels (there are a few stairs to the bedrooms) which I loved, large bright rooms and had everything we needed for our stay. The garden was beautiful, with a stunning view over the fields and down to the estuary. And there was ample room for 2 cars on the drive. Also, we were happy to discover a second bathroom which I hadn't seen mentioned, came in handy with 3 adults. This really is the perfect spot for discovering some of the south coast of Devon. We headed to Salcombe, Totness, Dartmouth and Bigbury-on-Sea and all were within a 30 min drive. I would highly recommend this property for your trip to South Devon. Thank you
