Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Key West

We took our two small children on vacation here. It was such a perfect sized unit for our small family. There were beach towels, pool & beach toys for our kids, a scooter, etc. having the pool steps away was also so nice to have as an easy, close-by activity! Very very safe & friendly “neighbors”. They also had a pack n play. The only thing we wish they had was a highchair (kind of tricky with a 1 year old at a high top bar stool seating). But we knew that going into it! With it being a gated community, it felt very quiet and we often took strolls with the kids around the area and watched the sunset from the public patio by the water. There were grills to use, an outdoor shuffle board, & lots of fun local places to check out and/or eat at. We drove to key west a few days, which was just over an hour. Again, such a great location to be away from the hustle & bustle, but still be able to explore and check out all the neighboring keys as well. Benjamin was so helpful with any questions

Great place! Exactly like the pictures. AMAZING heated pool! Very clean. Ruth was an excellent host! She had fresh flowers, toiletries and even snacks and breakfast items to get us started! Most Airbnb’s you have to provide your own TP, paper towels, trash bags and soap but not here! Ruth had the place very well stocked. We will definitely be returning! The outdoor area was a peaceful and inviting space, thoughtfully designed with a refrigerator, sink, hot tub, gas fire pit, and ceiling fans to keep you comfortable. The soft lighting added a warm and welcoming ambiance, perfect for evening gatherings or simply relaxing under the stars. We especially loved the canal, which was incredibly easy to navigate and provided quick access to the ocean—a paradise for fishing enthusiasts! This was an awesome home for our family of 4 + dog. We felt right at home for the week! The pool was perfectly warm, and the kids had so much fun playing by the dock. We rented a pontoon boat and were able to dock it easily. Honestly, we hardly used the other amenities in the home because the weather was so nice, but if it rained we probably would have loved the game room too! Overall this was a great home for our family. The neighborhood isn’t super walkable, but the grocery store was just down a little footpath, allowing us to walk to get groceries as needed. Loved this!

The home was as seen in the photos. Well stocked kitchen and really nice outdoor space to enjoy the canal. The beds were comfortable. We saw iguanas, manatee and tarpon all from the outdoor living space. Very kind neighbors and marathon is a quick trip to key west or key largo- so nice central location. Recommend walking 7 mile bridge, snorkeling key largo and enjoying the many state parks. Great trip. Also very responsive host

Stunning location, very comfortable with plenty of space for 10 people. When we arrived we never felt like leaving. Beautiful pool and hot tub surrounded by palm trees, sandy area with great fire pit, gorgeous outdoor eating area and kayaks to drop from pier. Very private location with spectacular sunsets! Fabulous!!!!

This place was an absolute dream! The location felt so private yet was so close to whatever we needed or wanted. The house was very clean and so welcoming. It was just the two of us for this trip but with each of the 3 bedrooms having their own full bathroom, this place could have easily accommodated more. We definitely want to come back again with friends/family. The rest of the home is cozy and has everything you need. The outdoor areas are so nice and peaceful. The landscaping, private pool/spa area, and the fire pit area make it feel like you're in your own tropical paradise. The neighborhood was quiet and the people we interacted with were very kind. Seeing the Key deer walk around the area and hearing the peacocks made this place even more magical. This was our first time in The Keys and definitely won't be our last. The worst part of this experience was having to leave. This lovely place definitely made it difficult to go back to real life. We can't wait to come back!

Great location. It felt very quiet and peaceful. We didn't have the best weather so we didn't get to enjoy all the amenities of the property but it felt walkable.

Rhonda's place is terrific! Lovely location with full water views. Pool was excellent. The home was very comfortable, clean and convenient to restaurants and stores. Would definitely rent again.

Indira’s place was very clean and so relaxing for our family. We liked watching fishing boats come and go while sitting in patio. Marathon is a great place to visit with so many family friendly parks and attractions nearby. I recommend it.

Our stay was wonderful! Easy to find, simple check-in and check-out. The kitchen is well stocked with all the items you will need to prep and serve your meals. The views are lovely and the patio is a wonderful spot to relax. The beds are really comfortable. The property was exactly what we hoped for. We hope to visit again someday!

We had such an incredible week at The Sandcastle Suite! Our host Ganit was amazing! She checked up on us periodically and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The condo was so cozy and had a large “smart” washer, and dryer, which was very helpful as we packed light! We used the kayaks, bikes, fishing rods, ate downstairs at picnic table, turned on festival lights at nighttime, and even used the bbq grills by the pool several times. The location was prime!!! A few minutes from Sombrero beach, across the street from Walgreens, the dollar store, the bagel shop and the best Italian pizza food truck. Ganit made several recommendations for wonderful restaurants and places to visit! It was only an hour to Key West so we made a day trip there and 45 minutes to Islamorada. This place was truly an escape to paradise and has everything you need and more for a wonderful, memorable trip with friends and family. We can’t wait to go back!

We spent a week here and loved it, it was the perfect size for me and my husband to celebrate our anniversary. It was clean and spotless. We loved to sit out by the water and watch the wildlife, jet skis and wind surfers. It's so peaceful around there. There are also lots of great restaurants near by. We hope to come back again sometime.

We will definitely be back. Great location to many attractions. Robin was a great host. Very responsive.

The 4 of us had a great stay at our cabin at Old Wooden Bridge which we found to be a very convenient base to visit the other keys. Having a full working kitchen and own BBQ with plenty of seating both inside and outside was a definitely a plus. A shopping mall with a large supermarket is only a 5 minute drive away. Appreciating that the accommodation is a cabin, we did feel however that the bathroom could do with modernising and the double beds with two adult occupants are rather on the small side. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and the owners were very helpful with snorkelling and beach recommendations.

Fantastic stay for the price. Very peaceful place and the staff on property were very kind. The house itself was great. Robin gave us some great recommendations for things to try around the area.
