Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kamo River

It’s a great place to stay when coming to visit, especially if you have a big group since there’s lots of room.

By far the best stay during our trip to Japan. The accommodation was fun, well stoked, and well kept. We tried to spend as much time as possible in this stay, spinning the vinyl and relaxing. Only regret was we didn’t have more time. Highly recommend to all.

Haruka's apartment is situated very near Saiin-Station (5min walk) and its restaurants in a quite street. There is a supermarket 4min walk in the other direction. It is big with 2 bedrooms, a great bathroom, a washing-machine and everything you can need to cook in the tiny kitchen as well as spices, oil, tea, coffee... There are also brochures about Kyoto's attractions and a very interesting book about Japan's history. The best part of our stay at Haruka's House was to meet the owners (they live upstairs), who welcomed us as we arrived with many informations, japanese tea, fruits an sweats. As we left, the had looked for the train-connexions to our next destination and gave us nice advices as well as crackers for the trip. It was so nice, we felt at home from the first minute and we enjoyed so much their company. We even had the chance to borrow their bicycles to tour around Kyoto. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We definitely hope to come back!!!

We had a great stay here! The space was clean and beautiful— simple and elegant. We loved it. Was a bit far from kyoto’s main areas— but just used uber. Loved the space!

LJ Inn was perfect - much more spacious than most Japanese Airbnbs. We really enjoyed the privacy of having our own building. The place itself is very clean, has updated and good appliances - we really liked the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. Yasushi is a very responsive, friendly and kind host. Would highly recommend!

Super logement très proche de la gare et des commerces locaux. Spacieux avec tout le nécessaire pour les voyageurs. Le bain extérieur était très agréable. En revanche les trains passent régulièrement, prévoir des bouchons d’oreilles pour ceux qui ont un sommeil léger.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay with family [5 persons] at this apartment. The place was spotless, well-decorated, and had all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect, close to everything yet quiet and peaceful. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay. I would definitely come back!

Kauniisti modernisoitu machiya town house Kiyotossa. Sijaitsi ahtaalla kujalla jonne taksilla ei päässyt mutta kuja oli ihan cool. Koodilla pääsi sisään ja ukko tuli käymään tunnin päästä esittelemään paikkaa. Kylpy oli japanilaiseksi kodiksi valtava ja tosi hieno ja sinne sai erikoisvalaistuksen kylvynvierestä. Keittiö/Olohuone oli myös viihtyisä, hintaan kuului kahvia, teetä ja vettä, minibaarista olisi voinut ostaa ylihintaista olutta. Torikisoku, 7-eleven ja asema olivat lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Paikka oli siivottu tosi hyvin, sillä vaikka sinne sai tuoda koiria niin kukaan meidän koira allergikoista ei saanut mitään oireita.

京都はどこも高いので相対的には安かったです。

This place was great stay for my time Kyoto. Kumiko was a great host and the place was awesome, I loved the layout of the place

The stay at 京都駅前町家 嘉右衛門 was extremely homely. The host communicated clearly the instructions to locate it and we were 5-7min walking over from Kyoto Station with 4 luggage. The host was very welcoming, clearing introducing us to all the amenities around the house from the lounge to the bedroom to the washer-dryer. In our two nights stay at 京都駅前町家 嘉右衛門, we were able to experience living in a heritage machiya yet enjoyed the convenience of modernity furnishings. We will return to 京都駅前町家 嘉右衛門 if we come through Kyoto again, and recommend it to all our friends.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. Our booking was in a townhouse like structure attached to a row of other houses but we heard nothing from any neighbors. It had one Western style bedroom on the first floor with a fully accessible bathroom (toilet and bathtub). 2 Japanese style bedrooms and another bathroom that's split: shower, sink washer and dryer in one room, toilet and sink in the other is on the second floor. An added bonus is a tv room with Wii games, a smart tv, and books in multiple languages. Our host Rachel was amazing, fluent in Japanese and English she was able to answer any questions we had, made great suggestions for how to tweak our itinerary to have things for more with insider local knowledge, communicated with Japanese only speakers on our behalf, and even had a cute friendly dog. Our experience was 10/10, fantastic.

One of the best experience in Kyoto. I stayed at Lan’s place for two nights, it was quite and comfortable, there are several coin parking lots nearby so it is very easy to park. Lan was very kind to us, he even brought some drink and he was always willing to help. Anyways, I strongly recommend this place to everyone who’s willing to travel and stay at Kyoto.

Gorgeous house for a family trip ! - Clean, spacious, felt like home immediately - The location is THE best IMHO. Easy to access subway, Eizan line and mt. Hiei is nearby - 7-11 is 20 sec walk! + river To sum up - for me it’s the best place to stay in Kyoto.

独栋小房私密性好，安静，周边设施也很便利，地铁大概距离五六分钟，还有一个24小时便利店。特别是房东人很好很热情！会介绍京都和推荐景点，还帮忙接送~房子住的很舒服，下次要是有来京都还会住这！

Die Unterkunft war extrem sauber – wirklich makellos, was für uns sehr wichtig war. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der schnelle und freundliche Kontakt: Wenn wir Fragen hatten, wurde sofort geantwortet und mit echter Hilfsbereitschaft unterstützt. Die Gastgeber waren außergewöhnlich aufmerksam – sie haben uns sogar einen Regenschirm angeboten, als es plötzlich zu regnen begann. Solche Gesten machen den Unterschied! Und haben uns sogar Kyoto Süßigkeiten dagelassen. Insgesamt ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt. Ich kann diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

K/H did an amazing job as a host and making me feel welcome during my stay in Kyoto. Their clear directions made the stay seamless. Noise around the bnb was not as bad as expected ( rail line by the apartment), and it didn’t impact my sleep at all! Thanks again!

An absolutely beautiful property, exquisitely curated by Uzu. Every part of her home stay reflects this. She’s a wonderful person and very helpful always. The home is built on traditional Japanese lines but has all modern facilities that you would need. It’s spacious and has lovely facets like a record player and an old world rotary phone, books, statues and a beautiful hand drawn map of the area, among many such curios. Anyone visiting Kyoto must try to stay here. The crown of course goes to Uzu- an exceptional host! Arigato hosaimas, a million times over.

Really great place for exploring Kyoto and relaxing afterwards! The host is absolutely fantastic, always ready to assist with whatever issues you might have. The space itself is quite modern as well, with a few details that are quite uncommon but make the place that much better for it. Safe to say it is one of my favourites so far.
