New cabin with high standards in quiet surroundings. Located at the end of a cabin field with no transit traffic, it's just as good for families as it is for the group of friends. There is a car road all the way up to the cabin throughout the year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for trips in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter, there is a cross-country ski trail just behind the cabin, and you can take on alpine skiing just outside the cabin door and run to the alpine resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

You get the feeling of being "alone in the whole world" despite 7 minutes to Fagernes town. Mindfulness. About 2.5 hours drive towards Valdres from Oslo. There is electricity and wood burning. There is one bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed, dining room and bathroom with shower. There is a bio toilet inside the bathroom. Must walk 40 meters from the parking space to the cabin. Here you can swim, relax by the water's edge or explore the fjord by boat, kayak or SUP board that can be rented in town. The cabin is a perfect starting point for trips both inwards and outwards of the fjord if you want to experience more of the beautiful surrounding area. A real gem for those who want to find peace in idyllic western Norwegian nature.

Geitsetra

Recharge your batteries in this unique place, Geitsetra, right under Skagsnebb, in the middle of Jotunheimen. Here you have many of the famous 2000 meter peaks in Jotunheimen right outside the door, a great starting point for both hiking and skiing. From Sep/Oct there is no running water so we bring water in cans to the farm until the turn of the month May/June. This was originally a goat farm, but now the barn is empty and on the 2nd floor there is a spacious apartment, but great views. If you have any questions, please let me know🙂.
