The cabin can be reached via a path of approximately 1 km with a 150-metre change in altitude. The hike is steep and takes 15–30 minutes; light luggage is recommended. Best suited for 2 people, but has sleeping accommodation for 4. The cabin has electricity, running water from a nearby stream and a toilet. There is no shower. Semi-detached home was new in the summer of 2019. It is beautifully located on the fjord edge of Torsnes. The holiday home is fully equipped and has panoramic views of the fjords and mountains. The whole house consists of two separate apartments. This is one of them and is one of them. The smallest unit is in the front of the house. Jondal is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts.

This is the highest of the two Microhouses in Solbakken, where they are both located in the surroundings of animals and art. Gallery Solbakkestova with its beautiful sculpture garden is located just next to the house. Goats graze in front, and you can see alpacas on the other side. The house is located in a rural area, but is close to the city center and bus. Walking and cycling paths pass by, and the hiking trail up to Liafjellet is close by.

There you can relax, enjoy the sound of the river and log off from the hustle and bustle. We rent out our nice house which is located in the center of the beautiful village Jondal, in Hardanger. Huset var ferdigstilt i starten av 2020. Det ligg 100 meter frå stranda og har nydeleg utsikt over fjord og fjell. Shops, cafe and more are within short walking distance. Jondal is an eldorado for outdoor enthusiasts with summer ski centre and glaciers at Folgefonna, many nice hiking opportunities in the mountains and swimming and fishing in the fjord. It is also not far from where the trip to Trolltunga starts

Cozy little house in Jondal

Small, charming house from 1850. Refurbished in 2025–2026; we tried to be true to the old style. Here you can enjoy the silence, wake up to the sound of birds singing and the sound of the waterfall that you can see from the house. You can take a swim in the fjord a few meters from the house, or relax with a good book. With a view of the waterfall, the fjord, and a large, nice garden, this is a perfect starting point for great nature experiences in beautiful Hardanger.

"Drengstovo" with a lovely view in Hardanger

Drengstova", an apartment that is located in the barn with a private balkong facing the fjord, Sørfjorden. At the dock it’s nice to take a bath, fish or just enjoy the view. Fogefonna sommerskisenter is one houer by car from us. There are many fine hiking in the surrounding area. The most famous are Trolltunga, Oksen and the waterfalls in Husedalen,Kinsarvik. It's nice to cycle along the fjord into Agatunet or against Utne with Utne hotel, and Hardanger Folkemuseeum .
