If you want a relaxing stay, the surroundings are perfect for a few hikes, and the neighborhood is very peaceful. I can only recommend it after several days there! 😊

It is a beautiful apartment overlooking the fjord. In the evening, you can sit outside in the sun. Communication with Marit was warm and you feel at home. The accommodation is ideally located and you have short distances to the Trolltunga and Buarbreen glaciers. We had a great week there.

This is an apartment in a ridiculously beautiful location. You have a direct view of the Hardanger fjord. Unique and from the balcony you have a fantastic view. Supermarkets are accessible at 'normal' distances for Norway. When you go a little further away, you can visit incredibly beautiful places (waterfalls, a glacier, etc.).

Liv was very responsive, flexible, and a good communicator! The place itself is quite spacious and quite convenient as we were on our way to Vøringsfossen the next day. Would recommend.

We stayed for two days and were really happy!!!! The hosts are very hospitable. When we, tired from the road, entered the house, we were greeted with coziness, cleanliness, warmth and comfort. For the youngest child there were even a number of exciting board games, which he was very happy with. And the view of the fjord from the terrace is simply amazing!!!!! We really didn't want to leave and if possible we would gladly came back again.🤗🤗🤗

We loved our stay at Johannes’s Bnb! We are American and have nearby relatives in Granvin. Johannes’s home was perfect for our stay. The surroundings are breathtaking and the home was very comfortable. Recommend highly.

Karen and Kim's apartment high above Bergen was fantastic - spacious, comfy and with a nice terrace that offers an amazing view over the city. The neighborhood is really nice and quiet and you get to experience it in full during a roughly 20 minute walk down to the city center. Back up we took the train to the top of the Fløyen and walked right down to the apartment - but you can also take the bus, a taxi or one of the numerous e-scooters around the city. Our communication with Kim throughout our stay was always friendly and seamless. We would definitely come back should we visit Bergen again.

What a wonderful stay we had in this rustic cottage! It had all the comforts, which made us feel right at home. And that view... breathtaking! The area was exactly what we were looking for: wonderfully quiet and perfect to get to ourselves. The icing on the cake was the incredibly friendly host. It was very nice to learn more about the area and the location thanks to their tips and stories. In short, highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in a quiet area

The apartment had everything we needed — fully equipped kitchen, fresh towels, and even small, thoughtful touches like tea and snacks that made us feel truly welcome. The host deserves special thanks — incredibly kind, polite, and attentive. He was always available and happy to help with anything we needed. It was a real pleasure communicating with him. Home away from home in Bergen! Cosy, clean and very close to the city center. Neighbourhood is lovely. We were there for 2 full days and nights and on a rainy night decided to stay in - we had all the necessary equipment in the kitchen for a home cooked meal and the living room was nice for a movie night. Paolo is proactive and responsive and even helped us out with parking in the neighbourhood. We had a lovely time. Note that there is no private parking, you can park in the neighbourhood or in a parking garage. Highly recommend.

apartment 14 upstairs. the "postcard" view. it was beautiful. just for the view it's worth it. the hot tub and sauna was also a plus. for the rest of the apartment, there is a lot of kitchen utensils and cutlery missing. the shower area is very narrow. we were practically all alone, so the common areas were really nice. Alvik is very nice as a village and a lot to see around by car.

Gorgeous little home on the ocean. The host was very responsive and helpful. We had one fantastic meal at the hotel restaurant. The hot tub was also a great addition. One note, the floor is a bit noisy so keep that in mind if you have small children and don’t want to wake them by walking around. Other than that, we would stay here again. Thank you!

What a beautiful location! The view is even better than the pictures and the neighborhood is so peaceful and lovely. This definitely gets you high above the busyness of Bergen. This is a great location if you like to hike or trail run—easy access to trailheads that get you up to Fløyen and the expansive network of trails nearby. The hot tub is really nice and a wonderful way to end the day! I would agree with other reviewers that this house is best for people who are in good shape and fully able bodied. The walk up from town is extremely steep! Taxis and Ubers are quite expensive, and we found that they had a bit of a hard time getting up there. Scooters are a good option if you get tired, but I’d recommend a little bit of experience with them because the roads are so steep! It worked perfectly for our group, but it wouldn’t be the best option if you have an injury or for elderly people. The views can’t be beat, deck and hot tub is great and there is plenty of space for 6 people.

This is the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Don't hesitate to book it!
