The cabin is beautifully located at Jølstervannet close to highway E39( this can cause traffic noise)an area with scattered cabin buildings . Jølster offers beautiful nature and good fishing opportunities in Jølstervannet, which is known as a very good fishing water. Here there is great hiking terrain with marked hiking trails. From the cabin it is a short distance to the shop, golf course and Jølster ski center. Jølster offers cultural experiences, local crafts, and an art museum. From the cabin it is walking distance to Tindefjelle and Steinegga.

That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

The cabin has a private beach for swimming and fishing, and is a great base for walks and activities all year round. If you want to experience Lake Jølstravatnet from the water, we also offer boat hire: Øien 460-1 with a 20 HP Yamaha motor.

The outdoor area is large, and here you can enjoy long summer days, go out with the rowboat (included), swim in crystal clear water, try out SUP boards or kayak (which is also included).
