Here is an older cottage with a lot of charm to rest in. Breakfast included! The kitchen in the cottage is simple with a wood stove, electric mini oven and microwave. Possibility to use a fully equipped kitchen in the main house where toilet, shower and washing machine are also available. The wood-fired sauna warms well and there is also a sitting tub and battery-powered shower. On the porch, you can hear the water from the pond and a stone staircase leads you down to a lovely place for a coffee break. Borrow the kayak and paddle up from the pond.

Right next to the beach of Storsjön is Östersund's most central beach plot Villa Alpnäs. Cozy loft apartment with private entrance in a quiet location on Frösön. 3 km south of Järvsö is our health farm Jon-Anunds from the early 1800s. Here you live in our guesthouse with a great view of the Ljusnan valley. In the yard, you can move freely, in the barn, children usually love to climb, skateboard and play table tennis. Jump on the trampoline. Less than 10 minutes down to a fantastic swimming area, fun for children. In the yard, there are bikes for guided cycling and kayaks to rent if you feel like it. If you are a larger group, there is also Gammelgården with 8 beds to rent.

Our modern log house is situated right on a lakeshore. The open-concept design with lots of wood and light creates a warm, friendly atmosphere. On 85m2 you'll find panoramic windows with a fantastic view on the lake, a soap stone fireplace, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Enjoy fishing, paddling, swimming, hiking and x-country skiing right in front of your doorstep! Our neighbouring little farm with our kids, three sled dogs, three cats, a garden and chickens can induce a farm holiday experience.
