Ydilische Bed and Breakfast Walden (walden is the Frisian word for forests) is located in the National landscape Northern Frisian forests. Characteristic is the ‘smûke' backdrop landscape with thousands of kilometres of elk collectors, dykswâlen (wood walls) and hundreds of pingos and pools. The area has unique flora and fauna. The biodiversity here is great. A short distance from Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum and the Ydillian Wadden Islands. The surroundings are very suitable for walking, cycling, canoeing.
