Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Idra

Absolutely stunning view! We went outside of prime tourism season on purpose, and it was so beautiful and peaceful. We were met at the water taxi for help getting our luggage up to the house (thanks, Spiros!) and our host was very responsive and helpful with questions - and tons of great local recommendations! It is up about 50 stairs from the small harbor, so tough if anyone in your party has mobility issues. But the experience is absolutely worth it! Highly recommend.

I had the most peaceful stay of my life! Great hospitality! Loquat tree to pick & eat fruit from was a sweet bonus! As a solo female, I felt very safe and well looked after. I can’t wait to come back with my husband.

I recently had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! there are quite a few uphill steps to reach the place, so having some help with luggage would definitely make things easier. The water heater takes a little time to warm up—around 30 minutes—so it's good to plan ahead if you need a shower. washer and dryer instructions needed a quick translation app help.The host was incredibly responsive and made our stay comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend it!

The time on Hydra was a dream to be in. Ioannis picked us up from the harbor with his dear donkey Penelope despite the later ferry. So we didn't have to carry luggage. The house is quiet yet a great base for exploring the island. A very sweet cat came to visit us every day in one of the two pretty courtyards. Ioannis prepared wine and olives, we were always allowed to take lemons from the tree and he even prepared a small surprise. A very warm host!

We loved our stay here. Hydra is such a lovely place to visit and this house was such a perfect place to stay. The furniture and beds were comfortable with the overall space was inviting. Beautiful view! Would highly recommend staying here.

I probably repeat most of the reviews but we had an amazing time. If you like cats you'll enjoy your stay even more. The restaurants Valia recommended were great. Valia always responded very fast to any questions we had. We stayed for 3 days, which is probably not enough time to do all the activities in the area.

Mimi was an excellent host and her home had cool Greek design (architecturally and decorations). She gave us a tour at the start of the experience and was always very responsive. Hydra is a very cool walkable island with good food and relaxing vibes. Would recommend!

Dina's home is absolutely stunning. It has everything we could possibly need. The views are breathtaking, and the host is incredibly kind. We truly wished our stay could have been extended. I noticed some comments regarding the stairs leading up to the house, but we have three little ones and had no difficulty navigating them; in fact, we found the walk quite pleasant. We took our time to soak in the scenery. Dina was even generous enough to allow us a later check-out since our ferry departure was scheduled for later on. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend Dina's house. Everything was simply perfect.

Very enjoyable stay. The apartment is big and welcoming. The hosts were there when we arrived and showed us around and we're friendly responsive throughout. Only 5 minutes from the port but down an ally so feels private. The terrace has amazing views and incredibly tranquil. Would highly recommend

The place had amazing views, and was very comfortable. It was a lot of steps and stairs to get to the apartment but was well worth it. I do recommend getting a mule for luggage. The kitchen was small but was able to cook breakfast easily and managed a simple dinner. The view from the patio was great. Our hostess was very responsive and had lots of information about things and places to go on the island. Would highly recommend this apartment.

This was the fourth time we stayed in Eleni's house. Everything is perfect, from the cleanliness of the house to its location and the helpfulness of the hosts! We can't recommend it enough!

We had a wonderful stay at Elina’s place. The location was great, just a short walk from Kamini beach. Elina herself and her family were very hospitable. The apartment has everything you need and the view is amazing. I would really recommend this place.

Great quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the harbor. Lovely balcony to enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. Direct swimming opportunities with stairs in the immediate vicinity. Beautiful pebble sand beaches in 5 and 20 minutes walk. Sparkling clean, simply but comfortably furnished. Very pleasant single beds. Only the hot water situation when showering is suboptimal for children. Hot water from the boiler and old two-hand fixtures that children no longer know are not a good mix.

This is the second time we have been hosted in this heavenly home and we hope to return again. All three bedrooms are extremely quiet and bright and the living room is peaceful and nicely decorated. But nothing beats the large terrace and its breathtaking view, every morning anew. We did not rent a car and went to the beach every day on foot (2 minutes to Askéli beach down a large flight of steps), 5 minutes to Kavali, 15 minutes to Neorio). Downtown is a 15-20 minute walk and walking along the sea and the harbor to get there is delightful. There is a good bakery and a busy supermarket 7-8 minutes from the house. We thank Zia and Michalis again for their kindness and availability!

We enjoyed the private balcony with its table, chairs and umbrella. Plus two hanging basket chairs for fun.

The flat is a good fit for a family of 4 or 5 for some days. We stayed for 3 nights and it was perfect to explore Aegina. In Perdika you have everything in walking distance: beach, restaurants, stores. And host Raphael was very responsive and helped out when we had a question.

I will say that Agistri in November is very very quiet... there are no open restaurants but a small convenience store to be able to shop and a bakery... On the 1st day we were a little surprised but we discovered Agistri and its small villages nearby with pretty coves and nice walks to do. Desponia was very kind and provided the answers to our questions…. A nice stay but be careful village very quiet at this time... for those who like tranquility it's perfect... Bring back condiments if you stay several days and cook

The apartment is very comfortable, close to the Sea and five minutes by car from the harbour where the ferries arrive. It is beautifully furnished, well-equipped and extremely clean. Viktoria welcomed us warmly and was very helpful. We highly recommend her place!

Our host Dimitris was great, really helpful and friendly. Very flexible for the check in. The apartment was clean and in a great location!

Our stay at Marthas beautiful apartment was perfect! The apartment was perfectly clean, the communication with Martha was really friendly and she took very good care of us via mobile contact. The apartment is really central but you still feel very private, it has a really cute balcony and the overall vibe is really sweet and cozy. We`d love to come back, thanks Martha! <3

Super villa, as described on the listing with a view far superior than the photos! We loved our stay and especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony sipping a pre dinner drink, watching the hubbub of the harbour below.

I would highly recommend staying at Eleni's home. It’s perfectly located right on the port of Hydra, offering stunning views. Eleni and her assistant were incredibly helpful and always available whenever we had any questions.
