Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Snæbýli cottage 4

A warm and brand new house that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountain road (F210). It is 56m2 in size and is divided into two bedrooms, bathroom and then an open space where you have a fully equipped kitchen and living room with big windows and breathtaking view.
