Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hyde Park

We had a wonderful stay with Karen and Nick. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos and described on Airbnb. They were incredibly friendly and empathetic hosts. We slept like we were in the clouds – the bed was soft and cosy. The bathroom was spacious and modern, with fresh towels provided every other day. Our room was cleaned regularly, with fresh water, coffee, and milk replenished daily. We can wholeheartedly recommend Karen and Nick’s accommodation to anyone. Hope to see you again soon!

Alice provided a perfect stay. All was clean and tidy. Everything was available to suit our needs, as well as thoughtful extras. Next time we are in London, we hope to stay again.

All around a great place. The area is really nice and is just far enough from the busy area to be nice and calm but also just close enough to busier areas that it is just a few minute walk to restaurants, Whole Foods, etc. Would stay here again, great place.

We loved our stay with Annie, Andrew and Stanley and would love to come back. The house has been lovingly restored and is beautifully decorated and furnished. We so enjoyed the delicious made to order breakfasts every morning that kept us going until dinner time. Stanley greeted us whenever we came and went and was a welcome surrogate for our own pup at home. The location is perfect - a short walk from the tube station and immediately across the street from beautiful Bishop’s Park. We truly can’t say enough about the Egmont Lodge and the warm welcome we received. Thank you so much Annie and Andrew.

Inge was such a warm and friendly host—I felt very welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was cozy and comfortable, and I had a really relaxing and pleasant stay. There are lovely cafés and pubs just a short walk away along the Thames, perfect for a little stroll. It’s about a 7–8 minute walk to the nearest station, which made getting around really convenient. The house is located along a main road, so you can hear some traffic noise if the window is open—but it’s quiet and peaceful when the window is closed. I’d love to stay here again if I get the chance!

Anne was a kind and welcoming host—she let me check in early, made me tea, and showed me around the house. My room and bathroom were clean, and the home was well-located. I also wasn’t told until arrival that Anne would be away and her son would be the only person at the house. He was friendly and respectful, but as a solo female traveler, I would’ve appreciated knowing that in advance. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay!

Spotless, spacious, perfect in an ideal location. I've never stayed in a place so clean. The overall size of this two bedroom, two bath flat is very generous with lots of room to spread out, store your clothes and suitcases, move around etc. It is on a busy street but the two bedrooms here are located in the back of the unit thus creating a very quiet rest place. Because of its location, it is just a few steps to catch a bus in either direction and the tube (subway) is just a few blocks. There is a nearby small grocery store that will suffice for your short stay needs and several take out option restaurants near by as well. If we return I would definitely stay there again. Just a heads up for those with mobility issues: It is up three floors so be prepared (this not an issue for us but dragging suitcases up and down can be loud and a haul). The pristine bathrooms are tiny so if you are large... and finally, watch out for that green couch,it was awkward getting in and out of.

Beautiful apartment excellent location to explore London

I spent some wonderful days in Heike's apartment. A clean, welcoming oasis of calm after long days in the busier parts of London, which are easy to get to thanks to the good connections. A home away from home. Heike was always available, warm and personal in her communication. Any time again!

We loved our stay at Hameed place. He met us there as soon as we arrived into town and gave a quick and helpful overview of the place. The quarters are spacious and filled with lights, very comfortable for two couples. The apartment was well-furnished with everything we needed, plus we had three great coffee shops within a 1 to 2 minute walk! The apartment building is lovely and quiet. I highly recommend the location and Hameed’s place.

From check-in to our check-out, everything was perfect. Clear instructions were given by Ruth to ensure our stay at her apartment was a memorable one. Location of the apartment is just minutes away from various tube lines which made travelling in London a breeze. Halal food is easily found around the area and around Bayswater, Kensington and Earl's Court, which is definitely a plus for Muslim tourists. Ruth went the extra mile to replace the fan that was not working to a perfectly new one! Thank you again Ruth 😊. Overall, a lovely and splendid stay at the apartment.

I really enjoyed my stay here—it’s a great option if you’re traveling solo and want to be in a safe, central part of London. The neighborhood felt very secure and had everything I needed within a short walking distance: shops, cafes, restaurants, and public transport. The flat was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It made a perfect home base for exploring the city. I’d definitely recommend it to other solo travelers!

Beata’s place is like staying at a high end boutique hotel with more space and amazing value! Beautifully appointed, luxury finishes and amenities, wonderful location (characterful village-like neighborhood with great restaurants and shopping, yet minutes from Oxford Street), lovely responsive host … this is the best (and best value) Airbnb we have stayed at in London!

This was our first trip to England. We had a wonderful week in London. Will was a gracious host who met us personally. He showed us around the flat and gave us tips about London and the surrounding area. The flat was wonderful and in a location that was close to everything we planned to do. Will responded to all of our communications quickly. We will definitely be reaching out to Will if we plan a future trip to London.
