Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Hovden

The property is absolutely stunning, only topped by the amazing views! The home is beautifully nestled into the rock and natural surroundings. Consequently, the views from the hot tub and the sauna are breathtaking. During our stay, we had excellent sunny weather and enjoyed daily. Hikes: either directly from the home or within a 30 minute car drive. The house itself is well laid out and the kitchen has everything you need for six people. It never felt crowded, except occasionally the two lounge chairs from which you could view the valley, as we sometimes fought over who gets to sit in them… 😊 There is a small grocery store just down the mountain within a 15 minute drive. It is well stocked but a bit expensive. For us this was a perfect vacation as we just wanted to enjoy nature and relax. Beyond that, there really isn’t much to do as there are neither museums nor cultural points of interest. During the winter time, this obviously is a prime skiing location.

Wonderful place tucked away by a lake. Very cosy and has everything you need. If you visit in winter the road can get slippery so make sure you are well prepared!

Sehr gute Unterkunft in toller Lage direkt am See. Sauna, Jacuzzi und Kajaks waren wie beschrieben und haben den Aufenthalt bereichert. Kleinere Probleme konnten mit Kikis Hilfe schnell und zuverlässig gelöst werden. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Unterkunft – wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und können einen Aufenthalt weiterempfehlen.

We were 5 people staying in the house in August. It’s a beautiful house as described with a great view over the lake. The information center for the national park is only a 2 minutes walk away. Nevertheless, the spot is private and very quite, perfect for a relaxing time. It’s a great spot for activities like hiking various trails nearby or visiting the national park. We were really impressed by the spectacular nature. The house was clean and had all amenities making our stay a great experience. Check-in was easy and very flexible. Stein-Arve was a very helpful and responsive hosts, providing us with many information on possible activities. We can really recommend the house for a stay in the area.

Dette er virkelig en flott hytte med alt du kan drømme om! Helt klart ordentlige folk som eier dette slottet av en hytte, for her var det fiffige og flotte detaljer over alt, og meget moderne. Vi var 6 stk på tur, og alle ungdommene og voksne og 6 åringen fant sine soner hvor de slappet av, nøt ferien og kunne slå seg løs! Vi sjekket ut badstuen ved et lite tjern en av dagene, og det var skikkelig koselig. Kun 10 min å gå fra hytta. Ellers så hadde vi masse påske aktiviteter og laget deilig mat. Sola var også på vår side, så da var vi ute og grillet på bålpanna. Her kommer vi veldig gjerne tilbake! Tusen takk for oss🤗

Der Aufenthalt in Vradal war von Beginn bis hin zum Schluss einfach nur perfekt. Dieses Airbnb war eines der schönsten, die wir je besuchen durften! Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und hat alles was man braucht. Kiki hat zudem immer sehr sehr schnell geantwortet wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben und war sehr hilfsbereit. Die Küche war TOP ausgestattet. Es hat wirklich ALLES was man zum kochen brauchen könnte! Die ganze Unterkunft war sehr sauber und auf hohem Standard. Die Sauna und der Hot Tub waren das Highlight! Wir können einen Aufenthalt in diesem Airbnb jedem empfehlen, der ein paar erholsame Tage in der Natur verbringen möchte.

Vi var 5 voksne og 4 barn som hadde en veldig fin påske i denne hytta. Det positive: +Veldig fin og ny hytte. + Store panoramavinduer med nydelig utsikt over fjellene. + Kort vei fra veien og Haukeli skisenter + Bra pris Ting å tenke på: * Når sola skinner på de store panoramavinduene blir det fort veldig varmt i stua. negativt: - Hytta er nybygd så uteområdet bærer fortsatt preg av å ha vært en anleggsplass spesielt siden snøen hadde smeltet rundt hytta.

Wir waren nur kurz in der Unterkunft, aber es hat nichts gefehlt. Die Küche war tadellos eingerichtet , Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer sowie auch alles anderen Zimmer sauber und schön eingerichtet. Wir können die Hütte zu 100% weiterempfehlen !!

Very nice cabin—modern, clean, and equipped with everything one might need. Perfect location right by the slopes, making it ideal for skiing. Mr. Ulf is very kind, helpful, and communicates easily. We would love to travel here again 🙂

It was our second holiday in Rauland and we felt very comfortable in Richard and Monica's house again. We were lucky with the weather. Every day we could enjoy the view of the fascinating mountains from the large terrace. The house is very cosy and the perfect place to relax after a ski tour. Richard and Monica are wonderful hosts and always very helpful. The central location of the house is ideal for winter sports and excursions in the surrounding area. We made it to the highest mountain Gaustatoppen this time and it was a great experience. Rauland is always worth a visit and we would love to come back.

Super fijn bezoek aan het huis can Kirsti. Fijne communicatie en proactief geholpen bij de vragen die we hadden. Het huis was top, en er waren veel leuke dingen te doen in de omgeving. We heben mede dankzij de host een prima verblijf gehad!!

The house is situated on a beautiful plot of land adjacent to the lake, within a short walk of the nearest ski lift in winter and right next to fishing in summer. Theres plenty of parking and large space for entertainment. The host is friendly and swift to reply and address questions. Theres everything in the kitchen needed to cater for meals, the entertainment room is great for some inside chillax, and the jacuzzi was a highlight for both kids and adults.

We just landed back in UK after a fantastic stay in beautiful post card picture log cabin,loads of space and very warm and homely. steep drive to cabin in icing weather but roads are cleared.foind it ok We drove to hovden and did skiing for 3 days around 1 Hr drive but broke on your doorstep but was only open on sat, Sunday, Thursday and we arrived Friday.

Vi havde den dejligste uge med børn, børnebørn og svigermor i dette helt unikke og for en arkitekt spændende hus - en original norsk bjælkehytte med super komfortable møbler, senge og veludstyret med alt køkkenudstyr, brænde, spil, TV og internet. Hytten lå tilbagetrukket lidt for sig selv med udsigt mod det smukke Brokke fjeld og over hytte området, som vi nød fra verandaen omkring bålfadet, Vi kunne gå/stå på ski til skisport stedet, som også opfylde alle vores behov. Vi giver hytten, Bente og Tor-Olav vores bedste anbefalinger og vil gerne komme igen - ikke mindst for også at opleve stedet om sommeren. Eneste minus var, at vi 500 m før hytten måtte have snekæder på. Vi var ikke forberedt på, at opkørslen ville være så stejl. Vi fandt senere ud af, at det er nemmere at køre lidt længere på den store vej, og først køre ind i hytteområdet fra indkørslen lige overfor Brokke-Alpincenter. I hytten er der grus til at sprede ud, men det fandt vi først senere ud af. Tusinde tak for lån :-)

Super fin hytte, med fantastisk udsigt. Fint indrettet og virkelig hyggeligt. Nem adgang til pister. Hurtig respons på henvendelser. Fantastisk venlige værter. Vi kommer gerne igen.

En rigtig hyggelig hytte, med alt hvad man har brug for. Vi havde små børn med, der var en del ting stående der ikke var så børnevenlige, en stejl trappe, men ville jeg booke den igen, ja ingen tvivl. Sød vært. Rigtig godt sted til langrend, alpin er lidt mere besværligt, da man skal kører 2 km transport til en børnebakke. Indkøbsmuligheder er lidt langt fra hytten. Roligt område, med udsigt over bjergene i baggrunden, vi følte os som de eneste. Stor anbefalinger herfra.

Erg mooi huisje, met alles erop en eraan. Super mooie locatie met een prachtig uitzicht. Erg rustig gelegen in de zomer, omringt door mooie natuur

Auch im Sommer absolut empfehlenswert. Die Hütte ist gut ausgestattet und sehr familiär eingerichtet.

We had a wonderful stay at Øystein’s cozy cottage! Øystein was incredibly friendly and quick to respond to all our questions, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The house itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with beautiful nature views that made our time even more special. My family and I highly recommend staying here.

the house had everything it is stated on the site, well equiped for a big group. the house has parking space for only 2/3 cars, we had to park in a nearby empty cabin. we were suprised that no wood was present on premisses. it was the first time we rented a cabin without wood. the house it self does not need it, it was warm enough, but we had to take a quick run to the supermarket to buy wood for the hot tub, it was not far but it would have been nice to know in beforehand. we also did not find butane for the pizzaovn. the slopes are only a couple meters from the cabin. we enjoyed the stay and recommend.

Kjempekoselig og fin hytte som ligger nydelig til på toppen. Flott turterreng rett utenfor døra. Verten var veldig tilgjengelig og kjempehyggelig. Vi storkoste oss her på denne hytta! Anbefales virkelig!

Flott opphold i flott hytte med flott utsikt. God og rask kommunikasjon med utleier. Ski in/ski out er en stor fordel ved denne hytta.
