The cabin is located in scenic surroundings with lots of mountains around. There is a road to the door, and the cabin is quietly located at the end of a dead end road. Great ski slopes start 200 m from the cabin, there are opportunities for top tours right from the cabin to Svånuten at 1349 m above sea level. Enjoy the view from the terrace while you fire up the campfire to keep warm in the winter cold.

The lodge is located at Haukeli Husky Fjellgard in a scenic mountain area about 900 meters above the see level. There are great hiking trails right outside the cabin, summer and winter. The apartment is close to the Hovden center with walking distance to all facilities. In winter, there are great cross-country trails close by and it is a short distance to the Alpine Centre. The skating rink and Hovden Badeland is just outside. In spring, summer and autumn, there are many good hiking trails and summit hikes with varying degrees of difficulty.
