We sought by renovating this building to marry the old and the modern and to give this cottage a year 1900 spirit when it was built. All the household appliances are new. The accommodation is bold with stone construction, cool in summer and several shaded areas in the park allow you to rest. You have access to the whole vacation rental and the park. (The entire cottage and park is private), there is only the pool that is available only occasionally depending on the period and occupancy of it. (contact us as soon as you book to ensure available pool slots). We are close to the cottage, so we can inform you throughout the stay. Give you some good tips or learn about places to visit in the area. Located only 35 minutes from Bordeaux, between Saint-Émilion and Blaye, the cottage enjoys a quiet and wooded environment, conducive to relaxation. Several hiking trails pass a few hundred yards away. You are 1 km from Gauriaguet train station which serves the city of Bordeaux (30 min) and St André de Cubzac (10 min). Depending on the dates of booking of your stay, you can enjoy our heated swimming pool or the activities offered there. (Aquagym, Aquabike).

Stunning Vineyard Cottage with pool & terrace

Slow down and unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway. Once a vineyard workers cottage, many years ago, it is now fully restored to comfortably welcome four guests. The cottage flanks the vines with an uninterrupted view over our organic vineyard towards the estuary on the horizon. Relax on the terrace and take in its generous views over the landscape, take a dip in your own private pool, open late May-Sept, or stroll through the vines and woodlands that are both equally abundant in the area.

The Goupil

Maison de campagne de 70m² avec 2 terrasses dont une couverte et une piscine tubulaire au cœur d’un espace calme et arboré : pré, forêt. -20% de réduction à la semaine sauf en été. Pour information, la maison d'à côté est inhabitée. Le Goupil se compose de 2 chambres (1 lit double et 2 lits superposés) + un canapé-lit dans le salon si besoin, douche à l’italienne, wc, cuisine équipée. Linge fourni. Emplacement idéal pour se ressourcer, proche océan (8km), bassin d'Arcachon, lacs du médoc.

Set in the beautiful Charente Maritime countryside Le Manoir du Mûrier is a former 16th century hunting lodge once owned by the Marquis des Adjots. Kick back, relax & unwind in this peaceful oasis, nestled in 15 acres with its own lake, in the heart of wine region. Mûrier Cottage is tastefully decorated & furnished, has 3 bedrooms to accommodate 6 guests comfortably, has its own private entrance through the walled courtyard. In the grounds is a large salt water swimming pool & terrace.

With independent access and an enclosed garden, you can enjoy a barbecue under a starry sky in the summer or sip a cocktail in the garden furniture. Want to get moving? -The first swims are 20 minutes away (beaches/lake) - Bordeaux is accessible in 30 minutes - Prepare the aperitif, the Dune of Pyla is only 15 minutes away to enjoy a magnificent sunset :)

With a living area of 40 m2 with its furnished terrace of equivalent area, it has Wi-Fi and its air conditioning will refresh you when necessary. Local shops (grocery store, bakery, pharmacy, bar, tobacco, newsstand...) are within walking distance, about 200 m. Space available to park your vehicle in front of the accommodation.

Ideally located between Bordeaux, Saintes and Angoulême. 12 km from the water park "Les Antilles de Jonzac". 2km from Puyrigaud Castle. Come and enjoy the calm and countryside of Haute Saintonge. Linens and towels are not included in the rental.
