Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

We were two for 2 nights there. The reception was very warm and friendly. The bikes available were a great way to go for a cozy evening lap or to be able to shop in less than 20 minutes. With our car, we drove to Zandvoort to the sea in just under 1 hour. It was incredibly relaxing and the area is very nice.

We enjoyed the stay and the hot tub very much. It was the perfect place to unplug. We drove to Antwerp easily via the P&R in Melese (highly recommended). Gunter was a very friendly host and super helpful - were warmly welcomed with a welcome drink.

The place was just fantastic. Quiet location close to Amsterdam. Top amenities. Sauna and hot tub included. Also a giant grill that worked great. Suitable for a relaxing weekend with family and friends. And a trip to Amsterdam is also in. The hosts were very friendly and always quick to respond and also flexible with arrival and departure times. There was everything you needed. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

Me and my friend had a very nice stay at Mijke's house. The hot pool and sauna were very nice and easy to warm up. The place was very clean and accurately described. We can only recommend it.

Perfect location, unique way to stay in the city. Would highly recommend. Very different experience, of course, than a home or hotel but this makes travel more fun. Being right on the "skinny" bridge was a fantastic experience. Great for people watching or just quickly being right in the middle of everything.

We were very excited about the yard, the garden and the apartment. There are so many beautiful details that you would need many days to discover everyone. Everything was so creative and cozy, you can tell that a lot of work, passion and love is in things. We also liked the animals very much.... We had a very warm welcome and lots of great tips for excursions - just because we were also traveling with dogs, it was wonderful that they could also have their fun and we could take them everywhere...we had a nice time and filled them well! Thanks to Patries and Mike and their animals!!

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. Thanks for having us 😊

We had a wonderful stay in the former school under the wings of an old mill. Beautiful, green area where it is very quiet. Sanna is a friendly host who responds quickly and helps where she can. This house is very spacious and clean, with an enclosed garden that you share with the neighbors. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation in Zandvoort. The apartment was exactly as described and in the photos – clean, cozy and very welcoming. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location is just perfect – close to the beach, town and yet quiet. Annette was a great host: very friendly, easily accessible and with great tips for the area. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Had a great stay. The house is beautiful with history which we found great. Esther was also very friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.

We stayed at Irene's place for 3 nights and it was definitely worth it. It is a nice and especially cozy stay where everything you would need is. Nice underfloor heating for the cold days!! Central location in a quiet area where there is something to see in all directions. It has definitely been worthwhile for us!!!

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend at Boeren Biezen! The cottage has everything you need to cook, good beds and a nice sitting area. Margareth and Freddy are incredibly hospitable and do everything they can to give you a nice time. We ate paella together, bake pizza and cared for the horses. You don't have to go far for fun trips to Sluis, Groede or Het Zwin. Super!

Great host and great place. Very special venue, extraordinarily peaceful and comfortable with beautiful surroundings explorable by boat. Thank you Erik for taking such great care of us and being so responsive.

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

We stayed here for a few days in April. It was beautiful. Marieke and Chris, as well as their children (and to the delight of our children, their animals) were incredibly warm, open and attentive. The apartment is lovingly furnished and we didn't lack anything. On the contrary, there was everything we needed and sugar even more than expected. We would come back anytime.

Spacious and bright space. Beautiful lake views near the sea and with covered and heated swimming pool appreciable after the excursions. Bruges is 20 min , Ghent 40 min and Brussels 1h20 . Close to the border of the Netherlands we were visited Sluis. Ideal location to discover the area and enjoy and break nature /sea. Vera and Arno are very responsive and their apartment is impeccable and well-equipped.

Had a lovely weekend in this spacious home. All amenities are available. Also enjoyed the infrared sauna.

We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

Great weekend at Magdalena's. Good communication before we arrive, perfect arrival and welcome. We met Magdalena later in the evening, a lovely person who does everything to make his visitors have a good time. The accommodation is very comfortable, quiet in an exceptional environment between land and sea. A huge thank you to Magdalena and her husband for their extraordinary hospitality.

With our family (2 families + grandparents) spent 3 very nice days together in Denise's incredibly cozy cottage in the woods. With plenty of space for everyone in the house, a lovely garden for drinks, BBQ and lots of play opportunities for young and older children. Denise is a very friendly and attentive host (welcome package + birthday gift for grandma) and has many tips for outings and restaurants in the area. From the house we cycled and walked, also to the National Military Museum, which is just about next to the estate. Interesting for young and old. In the evening we cooked ourselves (well-equipped kitchen and lots of crockery) and in the afternoon a delicious birthday lunch at the Eetvilla in Soest. Nice place for a family vacation!
