Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hook of Holland

Wir hatten ein wundervollle Zeit in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft und würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen. Das Anwesen ist ein Traum und alles ist mit so viel Liebe gestaltet und eingerichtet. So etwas haben wir noch nirgendwo anders erlebt. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und zuvorkommend und respektieren die eigene Privatsphäre sehr. Können wir jedem nur empfehlen, der ein paar Tage mit seinem Partner entspannen möchte. :)

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Wir waren zu zweit für 2 Nächte dort. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Die zur Verfügung stehenden Fahrräder waren eine tolle Möglichkeit um eine gemütliche abendliche Runde zu fahren oder auch in nichtmal 20 Minuten etwas einkaufen zu können. Mit unserem Auto sind wir in knapp 1h nach Zandvoort ans Meer gefahren. Es war unglaublich entspannend und die Gegend ist sehr schön.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt und den Whirlpool sehr genossen. Es war der perfekte Ort, um abzuschalten. Wir sind unkompliziert nach Antwerpen gefahren über das P&R in Melese (sehr empfehlenswert). Gunter war ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und super hilfsbereit - wurden mit einem Willkommensgetränk herzlichst begrüßt.

Die Unterkunft war einfach fantastisch. Ruhige Lage in der Nähe von Amsterdam. Top Ausstattung. Sauna und Whirlpool inklusive. Auch ein Riesen Grill der super funktioniert hat. Für eine entspanntes Wochenende mit der Familie und Freunden geeignet. Und ein Ausflug nach Amsterdam ist auch drin. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich haben immer schnell reagiert und auch flexibel mit den An- und Abreisezeiten. Es war alles da was man gebraucht. Nur weiterzuempfehlen.

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

Ich und meine Freudin hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Haus von Mijke. Der Hot Pool und die Sauna waren sehr schön und einfach aufzuwärmen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und passend beschrieben. Wir können Sie nur weiter empfehlen.

Perfect location, unique way to stay in the city. Would highly recommend. Very different experience, of course, than a home or hotel but this makes travel more fun. Being right on the "skinny" bridge was a fantastic experience. Great for people watching or just quickly being right in the middle of everything.

Wir waren ganz begeistert von dem Hof, dem Garten und der Wohnung. Es gibt soviele schöne Details, dass man viele Tage bräuchte, alle zu entdecken. Alles war so kreativ und gemütlich, man merkt, dass viel Arbeit, Herzblut und Liebe in den Dingen steckt. Auch die Tiere mochten wir sehr.... Wir hatten einen sehr herzlichen Empfang und viele tolle Tipps für Ausflüge- gerade, weil wir auch mit Hunden unterwegs waren, war es wunderbar, dass auch die ihren Spaß haben konnten und wir sie überall mitnehmen konnten...wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und haben sie gut gefüllt! Danke an Patries und Mike und ihre Tiere!!

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. Thanks for having us 😊

We hadden een geweldig verblijf in de voormalige school onder de wieken van een oude molen. Prachtige, groene omgeving waar het erg rustig is. Sanna is een vriendelijke host die snel reageert en helpt waar ze kan. Dit huis is erg ruim en schoon, met een afgesloten tuin die je deelt met de buren. Absoluut een aanrader!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft in Zandvoort. Die Wohnung war genauso wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos – sauber, gemütlich und sehr einladend. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – nah zum Strand, zur Stadt und trotzdem ruhig. Annette war eine großartige Gastgeberin: sehr freundlich, gut erreichbar und mit tollen Tipps für die Umgebung. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Casa di campagna accogliente e pulita, con vista su un mulino a pochi passi. Ampio soggiorno, cucina nuova. Apprezzata la presenza di caffè, olio, sale, pepe, bagnoschiuma, ecc. I maiali e il cane sono molto socievoli, anche con i bambini, per i quali sono presenti anche altalena, dondolo, tappeti elastici. Esther e Erik si sono mostrati molto gentili, disponibili e riservati. Soggiorno rilassante e super consigliato!

We zijn 3 nachten verbleven bij Irene en het is zeker de moete waard geweest. Het is een leuk en vooral knus verblijf waar alles is wat je nodig zou hebben. Fijne vloerverwarming voor in de koude dagen!! Centrale ligging in een rustige omgeving waar alle kanten op iets te zien is. Het is voor ons zeker de moeite waard geweest!!!

We hebben genoten van een heerlijk lang weekend bij Boeren Biezen! Het huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt om te koken, goede bedden en een fijne zithoek. Margareth en Freddy zijn ontzettend gastvrij en doen er alles aan om je een mooie tijd te bezorgen. We hebben samen paella gegeten, pizza gebakken en de paarden verzorgd. Je hoeft niet ver voor leuke uitstapjes naar Sluis, Groede of het Zwin. Super.

Great host and great place. Very special venue, extraordinarily peaceful and comfortable with beautiful surroundings explorable by boat. Thank you Erik for taking such great care of us and being so responsive.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Wendela sehr genossen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Das „Rosenhäuschen“ war genau das, was wir uns vorgestellt hatten. Es war unser „ Home away from home“. Und wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

This is a great place. It’s so, so close to the main square and easily walkable to any area of Bruges. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. A laundry (with two washers and two dryers), “Honesty Bar”, filled with wine and beer, DVD center is in the same building just two doors down. This apartment is located on the second floor (third floor by US standards) but is well worth it for the location.

Logement spacieux et lumineux. Belle vue sur le lac proche mer et avec Piscine couverte et chauffée appreciable après les excursions. Bruges est à 20 min , Gand à 40 min et Bruxelles à 1h20 . Proche de la frontière des Pays Bas nous avons été visité Sluis. Emplacement ideal pour decouvrir la region et profit et de pause nature /mer. Vera et Arno sont très reactifs et leur appartement est impeccable et bien equipé.

Een heerlijk weekend gehad in deze ruime woning. Alle voorzieningen zijn aanwezig. Ook genoten van de infrarood sauna.

We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

Super week-end chez Magdalena. Bonne communication avant notre arrivée, arrivée et accueil parfaits. Nous avons rencontré Magdalena plus tard dans la soirée, une personne charmante qui fait tout pour que ses visiteurs passent un bon moment. Le logement est très confortable, au calme dans un environnement exceptionnel entre terre et mer. Un énorme merci à Magdalena et son mari pour leur hospitalité extraordinaire.

Met onze familie (2 gezinnen + opa en oma) 3 hele fijne dagen samen doorgebracht in de ontzettend gezellige cottage van Denise in het bos. Met volop ruimte voor iedereen in het huis, een heerlijke tuin om te borrelen, bbq-en en ontzettend veel speelmogelijkheden voor jonge én oudere kinderen. Denise is een hele vriendelijke en attente host (welkomstpakket + verjaarskado voor oma) en heeft veel tips voor uitjes en restaurants in de omgeving. Vanuit het huis hebben we gefietst en gewandeld, ook naar het Nationaal Militair Museum, wat zo ongeveer naast het landgoed ligt. Interessant voor jong en oud. ‘s Avonds hebben we zelf gekookt (goed uitgeruste keuken en veel servies) en ‘s middags een heerlijke verjaardagslunch genuttigd bij de Eetvilla in Soest. Fijne plek voor een familievakantie!
