You can also cook with a wood stove and BBQ outdoors. 　10 minutes by car from Izumo City Station. Izumo Taisha is 25 minutes away. There is also a hot spring nearby. The 20 tatami mat Japanese-style room is a private bedroom, and the kitchen and toilet are shared. There is a design office in the warehouse, and I work from 8:30 am to 6 pm on weekdays. You can also use the thatched cottage with a good view. 　There is also air conditioning, but in the summer, if you open the veranda and hang a mosquito net, the summer night breeze will invite you to sleep comfortably. From spring to autumn, you can hear the nostalgic sounds of frogs, cicadas, and bell crickets. 　If you are unfamiliar with charcoal or fire, I can help you if the timing is right. Firewood is free, but please bring your own BBQ charcoal if you use the sunken hearth. It is 1.6 km to the supermarket and 5 km to Izumo Station. It feels good to walk or jog along the Tanabe-michi Road and Kawato-te in the early morning. Please keep pets on the dirt floor. In July and August, please pick blueberries from the garden.

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts.
