We have just got back from two magical weeks at Astrid’s home. It is beautiful, and everything was just perfect. This was our first visit to Denmark & Astrid and her family were very helpful and made us feel at home. We have two children and they feel in love with the house, the garden and the beach! Just perfect!

We were 6 people staying here, from Friday to Tuesday. 4 adults and 2 kids, age 5 and 3. The place is excellent and accommodates everyone. There are a lot of toys for kids and outdoor games. It is right by the sea and we had a chance to swim. The rooms are comfortable. The kitchen and living room are cozy. One thing to be aware is that there are quite a few mosquitoes in the evening. But with a good repellent you will be safe. All in all definitely a place to visit.

Uns hat es im schönen Sommerhaus vom ersten Moment an super gefallen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist ideal für einen Aufenthalt mit Kindern, weil sowohl draussen im Garten als auch im Haus drin unzählige Möglichkeiten und Platz zum Spielen vorhanden sind. Unser vierjähriger Sohn liebte es. Wer seine Ferien lieber in einem lebendigen Ort als in einem Trendy-Loft verbringt, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Ole war bei allen Fragen sofort erreichbar und immer äusserst hilfsbereit! Wir haben unsere Ferien sehr genossen!

Vi holdte jul 8 mennesker i det blå hus ved havet. Det var den smukkeste udsigt og vi havde det dejligt i den skønne sauna. Huset var så stort at både børn og voksne kunne udfolde med alt fra bordtennisturnering til legolandskaber og togbaner for de mindste.

Svend’s home was a great place to stay for some relaxation, peace, and quiet. It was also within driving distance of all the neighboring sights and activities. Svend was the perfect host. He was flexible with our arrival time as we came from Copenhagen by car, he welcomed us in person, he communicated promptly if ever we needed something, and he even borrowed some football goals for our sons to play. We stayed for three weeks and it felt like we were at home (not a hotel or revolving bed and breakfast). There are some Airbnb’s where you can tell the host uses the space exclusively for Airbnb, but we really loved that Svend’s home was a space that his family actually live in. Our family of 4 (two adults and 12- and 8-year-old boys) all loved Svend’s home, though I should share the boys were a bit bummed that the pool was more of an outdoor tub that can be filled with water for a personal dip than a pool for swimming. Other than that, no complaints from anyone. We highly recommend!
