Our half-timbered thatched cottage is part of the former stable of our 18th century renovated farmhouse in the small but charming village of Domsten on the Sound between Denmark and Sweden. The beach is a short 2 minutes walk away; the marina 5 minutes. Domsten is an excellent base from which to explore South-West Sweden and North East Denmark (a 20-minute ferry ride away). The house is decorated in modern beach house style – ”simple living” with a great amount of charm and a personal touch! The House is located on a 3.600 square meters plot, where the 2.000 square meters are beach and sea. The beach is private (though the public has access). But since it is private and there is no big parking lot you'll mostly have the beach to yourself!

The old barbershop by the monastery

Esrum is a small quit village placed 50km outside Copenhagen. Esrum is beautiful situated next to one of Denmark greatest forest, Gribskov, and in working distance to Esrum Lake. Gribskov offers many outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and much more. Esrum monastery is placed 100meter from the house, and offers museum and different activities. In the daytime there are a Café serving light dishes. Nearest grocery store is in the next village, 3km away.

Lovely year-round insulated guesthouse, of approx. 17 m², with lots of charm, located in the middle of Gribskov, 6 km outside Hillerød. Here is room for 2 people with a large room with double bed, dining area and open kitchen with burner and the possibility of light cooking. In addition, there is a nice little bathroom with underfloor heating and a shower. The house is perfect for a romantic get-away or as a writing den if you need peace and quiet a few days for contemplation.

Small wooden cottage located in a big parklike and lush garden, private and separate from the main house, only a few minutes to a large forest, lovely beaches and a charming town with shops, cafees and restaurants, and close to the train. It has one main room with two beds put together, a separate kitchen for simple cooking and a bathroom. The terasse has a roof and is surrounded by flowers, trees and bushes. Suited for a romantic getaway.

The Black Cottage + Orangery

Available from April 1. - October 31. The Black Cottage and orangery are parts of the historical place called Skippergaarden (Skipper´s Residence) Fabersvej 2c, in the old Gilleleje. Skipper´s Residence is built in 1797 with last remodeling done in 2003/4. The Black Cottage from 1892, when summer residents became popular. Last remodeling 2019/21. The orangery is from 2009. We have wi-fi and parking available.
