Cottage holiday rentals in Hatfield

We booked three barns and the hut for 7 people. It was a work event for two nights and we were able to work outside, enjoy the bbq and enjoy cooking and playing games together. One of the best work trips we had. Thank you.

This was my 70th birthday celebration with my two children, partners, 7 month-old granddaughter and dog! It was the most perfect location . Three excellent bedrooms and bathrooms served us so well! Beds very comfortable and living space easily spacious enough! All the facilities were top notch! The welcome basket was simply brimming with goodies which were fully appreciated. A delicious birthday cake was also there - so thoughtful of the hosts! I cannot praise or recommend this venue highly enough. We didn’t have too much time to visit the local area but Finchingfield was delightful and Thaxted itself interestingly unspoiled. Thank you Karen for making this occasion so special . We hope to revisit some time in the future!

This cozy little property was exactly as described, and is tucked away in the most beautiful surrounds. Our lovely host, Laura, was easy to communicate with and made us feel right at home. The only down-side is the hum from the motorway (depending on the wind’s direction), but that can be easily drowned out by the jets from the private hot tub! ;) All in all, Point Lodge is a perfect escape from the world! I’ll definitely be returning!

We had a lovely stay, the house was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Istvan was also a very kind and accommodating host who was highly responsive at all times. Would definitely recommend booking for your get away or holiday!

Outstanding hosts. We were super happy to stay with them for a second time! The welcome basket was a really thoughtful gesture and the extra touches like robes and slippers were very helpful.

Everything was perfect for my colleagues stay! Check in was easy and we had no issues. Would happily stay again!

Idyllic.

We enjoyed our stay at the Fancy Cottage in Kew. Suzanne's cottage was close to Kew Gardens and just steps to the Thames Path as advertised. We enjoyed having our coffee in the sunny breakfast area or eating in after a day of activities. Bedrooms were good sized and it was great having two bathrooms. Easy walk to nice restaurants in Kew. Easy access to Richmond and London by bus or tube. Overall, very peaceful place to stay and enjoy Kew with easy access to all London has to offer.

A lovely cottage atmosphere with peaceful walks nearby. The property matched the description precisely. Very quiet neighbourhood. Thoughtful provision of lots of books to read, note pads and pen, etc, Serene courtyard at the front of the property.

Old English cottage in the middle of the countryside. Andy had thought of all amenities and was extremely personable and hospitable. It felt like a museum in places what with old telephones and old iMac computer screens on display. We stayed as two families (4 kids in total) and had a great time. Thanks Andy!

Our first Air BnB and what a great little place. We live reasonably local so have travelled through Turvey numerous times and we only stayed one night as had to vacate our house for a kids party. The place was immaculate with lots of small touches, gadgets and everything you need (better equipped than a lot of other places we have stayed). We had a minor query which Philip was quick to respond even though he was away. Never tried the fireplace as the weather was so good but managed a beautiful walk out around the village and the surrounding countryside. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing weekend staying at Catherine's place. The house is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a trip with family or friends. The surrounding area was so peaceful and location was great. Catherine was a brilliant host too, responding to all of our questions and even bringing over a spare kettle when ours broke. I would come back to Dynes Cottage in a heartbeat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here. Exactly what we needed - peaceful surroundings, a very kind and hospitable host, stunning countryside right on the doorstep and a wonderful local pub a short, ten minute stroll away. This is a fabulous place with easy access to the park and ride and to the city of Cambridge. Wimpole Hall is definitely worth a visit too. We are planning our return trip here already. It’s a real gem.

Great little cottage with lovely garden furniture for coffees outside in the sun. Easy to check in and out, and lots of helpful recommendations from Shaun on the local area!

The cottage was absolutely gorgeous! So well maintained for a 400 year old house! Still had all the character and charm of years ago. And in a great position to walk to shops and food places. Tom was very helpful and told us everything we needed to know and more.

Everything was perfect, and the cottage was absolutely spotless ,very friendly host and best overall Airbnb i’ve had so far.

We had a great stay at Lychgate House, it felt like a real home from home. Everything was good and as described and shown in the photos. On top of that the bed was very comfy and it was so quiet at night. Lovely to hear the church bells in the daytime. Marie was a great host, very friendly and helpful.

Super stay at Rose Cottage! Located on a beautiful peaceful farm, yet just 1 minute from an excellent pub and great villages. A great base for our Surrey hills adventure! Colette was an excellent, responsive and helpful host! The cottage was immaculately clean and well stocked! Colette kindly brought us over some farm eggs and introduced us to her lambs! It was a delightful week. Thank you!

Our second stay and we are already planning our third. Sally is a fantastic host and very responsive. The place is fantastic, clean, spacious and still cosy. Best Airbnb by a long stretch.

Our stay at the Garden House was amazing. Firstly, Louise was wonderful, she was so kind and welcoming, whilst also being respectful of our space. The place was stocked up with so many little luxuries. I would list them, but I think it’s fun to discover them yourself! The area is perfect either for country walks, a pop into town, a train further into Kent or an Uber to Bluewater. Overall, we could not fault our stay here. We have already recommended it to our in-laws and we hope to visit again!
