Monthly Rentals in Halsnøy Abbey

We had a lovely time in Karl Henrik's home. This is the second time we are welcomed and the place is a gem, beautiful landscape, the sea just below the house, we enjoy so much going with the boat to explore the islands and go fishing, and walk over to the monastery which is a short walk from the house. Everything is in short driving distance from the house, you can even come here from Bergen by boat and take the bus to do your courses. The house is always very clean and is very well equipped. You can make delicious dishes and cakes in the kitchen and just enjoy lovely days by the sea and on the islands. Even the mountains are just a 15 minutes drive from the house. This place has it all! Thank you Karl Henrik, we already look forward to next time! Have a lovely summer.

Nancy was an incredibly polite and friendly hostess, She was always easy to reach and had many good and interesting tips for the area. The accommodation itself is lovingly furnished and you feel right at home. The surroundings are beautiful, and sometimes it almost feels like you are looking at a work of art. The host communicated and responded quickly where necessary. I liked the residence very much. Something about how the rooms were located and the furnishings. It was very well utilised. I felt comfortable in the apartment that had everything and more than one could expect, - after what you had been told through pictures and text. It was a great place to stay and sleep, incredibly quiet bedroom. Some images are often taken with a wide angle so that it will look extra large. There's no need for that. I was particularly impressed with a practical, smart, clean and well-kept apartment. You felt welcome, as soon as you locked yourself in.

Stayed here for 3 nights in connection with the Stord Cup, had a great time. 10-15 minutes walk to the cup, quiet and peaceful and with plenty of space in the apartment
