House holiday rentals in Halifax

I booked CJ’s place last minute for member of our company’s upper management team. He went above and beyond for us given the tight timeline, was very attentive, provided clear instructions and was more than willing to help with unforeseen circumstances. My team had nothing but phenomenal things to stay about not only the property, but the property owner as well. We give a glowing recommendation for anyone interested in this property in the future

We had 7 people travelling together and this place had all the room and amenities we needed. Big kitchen to cook in, great common area to relax in together and a fabulous view of the lake. It was early in the season so too cold to use the pool but it looked like it would be great. Thanks for having us!

Another Great Stay at The Land Yacht! This was our second time staying at The Land Yacht, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. They have everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The indoor pool was amazing, and the views of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking. One of our favorite moments was reading a book in the solarium while listening to the rain—pure bliss. The peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and beautiful setting make this a truly special place. We can’t wait to return again!

PAM & J.P were extraordinary. We were delighted with our stay and fell in love with Nova Scotia. The animals were an unexpected extra. Gustave is going to miss Maple a lot. Small comment WHICH IS NOT A CRITICISM. The refrigerator is not very big, so don't do too much grocery shopping at once. We arrived with too many things and not everything fit. But again, that's okay. There's a grocery store not far away. It's very easy. Just don't plan too far ahead if you have a big family like mine. The pool is amazing!!!!! Close to lots of beautiful beaches. We had a great time with the family!!!

We had a beautiful stay! The house is more than what we could have imagined. It was clean, fully stocked with everything we needed and very private. The host was very quick to respond and helpful during the check in/out process! We would definitely recommend.

We stayed with as a family of 4 for two nights - our 2 little girls loved the comfiness and coziness of Kelly's place - full of fluffy pillows, blankets, and lots of little places to snuggle in. There was a nice big kitchen to cook in, and the hot tub and pool were awesome. We would stay here again :)

The secret beach house was exactly as described and very comfortable. It is surrounded by beautiful beach and peaceful environment. The place has well stocked amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. Courtenay is a very gracious host and was able to accommodate our special request. She was very kind to provide the option of early check and late check out. This airbnb has high quality amenities and furnishings throughout. Courtenay is very friendly and responsive. Watching the ducks run through the yard was a pleasure to watch. They are adorable. Would recommend the place to anyone looking for an amazing guest experience.

We had a lovely weekend get away stay. The dome had all the necessities as well as a sauna. Lots of wildlife too.

Nicole’s house was very welcoming and very spacious . She had stocked with a lot of stuff and we didn’t need anything from outside . It was a very cozy and a very clean house . It was a beautiful place exactly as described in the pictures . Nicole was very responsive to my messages . The house was very well kept . The beds were very comfy and even the linens were great . We were very comfortable while sleeping . I would definitely want to stay there again and again !

David’s place was great. As described and a great value. Location is well situated around all Bedford has to offer. I didn’t have any issues at all but sent a couple of questions to David that were answered quickly, very impressed! Will stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Francois’s house! The place was quiet, spotless, and the beds were very comfortable — perfect for a restful stay. Francios was a fantastic host: welcoming, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Sammi’s place! The home was clean, cozy, anduser friendly. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh towels, coffee, and local recommendations. The location was nice and quiet—close to restaurants and grocery stores. We even had a nice surprise of seeing two deer in the front and back yard. Sammi was very responsive and made check-in and check-out super easy. The only thing to note is that there wasn’t a TV in the living room, which would’ve been nice for relaxing in the evenings. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning. We used our iPad to watch TV as we don't like to watch TV in bed (our preference) so no big deal. Excellent High-speed WiFi. Close to the highway and downtown Halifax. Overall, a wonderful stay. We’d happily come back when we are in Halifax again and recommend it to others!

Shelagh’s home is a great place to stay in Halifax. The suite is large well decorated and had everything we needed. It’s close to all amenities; shops and restaurants. The downtown area is very walkable, with a beautiful park on the way. We loved our stay and would definitely stay at Shelagh’s on our next trip to Halifax

From the moment we walked into Jennifer’s home we felt so comfortable. The home is beautifully laid out and was very clean. It had everything we could have needed for our stay. Jennifer was so helpful with recommendations of things to do in the area and she was always very quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the Halifax area.

Wonderful home and a great Host! We had to book at the last minute (literally) and Holly was quick to respond and very helpful. The home was comfortable and well appointed.

We were so happy to stay here. We loved the location and the charm of the place.

Stayed at Anni's place for 2 nights. The check-in was super easy and well explained. We had to bring two vehicles and there was no problem parking both in their huge driveway. The unit is very private, spacious and bright. Lots of windows and has a lovely deck space. It was clean and well stocked. There is no stove but the one-burner induction cook top along with the toaster oven and microwave was all that we needed. The bed and living room furniture were comfortable and there is a lovely large TV with Netflix and live TV, etc. which provided lots of ertainment even for us technologically impaired individuals. The unit is located in a very nice, quiet area in an excellent location close to everything that you would need. Anni is a gracious host and always responds to messages right away. I would not hestitate to recommend this unit for both long or short term stays and would definitely stay again.

10/10! Colin’s place was perfect for our weekend in Halifax. Generous host that helps make you feel right at home. Clean, cozy, & well curated. Very spacious as well. Easy walking distance to explore a cool part of town and grab a bite to eat. Lots of solid restaurants and shops nearby! Wouldn’t second guess booking it!

Randy’s property is absolutely stunning and super private. It had everything I needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of my crazy life. He brought fresh firewood over and showed me how to use the fireplace. The added touches of his beautifully designed furniture and decor just made the whole home feel so cozy and unique. I love that he displayed some beautiful art from local artists as well. I made good use of the sauna and hot tub. Everything was immaculate and clean. I would highly suggest booking Randy’s spot - if you can find an opening in their very busy calendar! One thing to note is that it is not close to restaurants but that did not bother me as I brought my own food and had the option to cook, which I prefer! There’s also filtered water for drinking in the kitchen. Such an elevated but also rustic home away from home.

Kelly & Doris were so accommodating, and helpful. We had the absolute best time during our stay. The property is stunning, and very well kept. Our children loved having the playground across the pond to play at. Waking up there every morning was so peaceful. We will cherish the memories we made at this private little oasis.

The hosts are welcoming, and the accommodation is very clean and comfortable. Thank you Shameen.

Not 1 complaint. The hosts thought of everything a guest might need for a comfortable stay and had it there. My friends and I had a really great time and enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and propane fire table. We will have to come back to try the sauna. 10/10
