Stay in the old village schoolhouse

Our historic school building with wonderfully high ceilings and its thick sandstone walls offers plenty of space (about 130 square meters) for up to four people. It was lovingly ecologically renovated by us until 2013. Downstairs there is a large kitchen-living room, upstairs a cozy small bedroom and a large studio, which can also be used by artistically ambitious guests. From Gräfenhausen you can go directly to the Palatinate Forest by mountain bike or on foot. The nearest climbing rock is also a 20-minute walk. In the village there is a small restaurant with a village shop and a bakery (both directly opposite the house).

Our luxurious apartment "Rebenmeer" is located on the outskirts of Hainfeld, within walking distance of the wine pavilion Koch and Scherr winery. The vineyards start right behind the house. An ideal location for hiking or biking and stopping at the huts in the Palatinate Forest. Occupancy is designed for either 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults. Children and infants are desired. 😊Shopping is 3 km away. 4 restaurants in the village and a child-friendly outdoor swimming pool very close by!

Experience the seasons with us from the fruit blossom in April to the apple harvest in October, the colorful forests in November and the quiet valley in winter for winter hiking and feeling good by the fireplace. The house offers enough space for your family reunion, small celebrations and group vacations.

Whether for mountain bikers, hikers, small families or simply people who want to get out into nature, there is something for everyone to do. We would be happy to welcome you to our modern furnished small one-room apartment. From here, you can start in nature immediately.

This friendly, sunny apartment with a small terrace invites families, couples and nature-loving people to spend time in the countryside. Whether forest, playground, wine road, vineyards or Palatinate villages and towns, everything is accessible on foot or with short journeys.

My accommodation is good for couples, families (with children), large groups and furry friends (pets). On a given occasion, I must point out that there is peace in the outdoor area from 10 p.m. onwards. This is not a party location but a romantic property to spend a nice weekend. In the tranquil Hainfeld on the popular German Wine Route is our winery built in 1738. Of course, the house has an authentic winery that invites you to linger outdoors. The lovingly and elaborately renovated house is a wonderful starting point to discover the vineyards in the immediate vicinity or the Palatinate Forest with its multitude of medieval castle ruins.
