We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Idyllically located on the edge of the forest of Krautscheid: The charming Hanfbachhaus on 10,000 m² of nature, forest and meadows offers tranquility, comfort & French country house flair. Fully equipped for vacation or digital detox. Large fireplace corner outside, fireplace inside, 40 m² terrace, 8 free parking spaces & meadow by the stream with fireplace. Close to nature in a beautiful house with garden / 10 beds

The old house is situated in a small village on the edge of the Bergisches Land, a stone's throw away from the Westerwald. The house has been renovated over the past few years; only the façade is still missing. There are six rooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen, a living room in the attic, and a large property (approx. 2,000 m²). The cottage is quietly located on the outskirts of a 300-person village, there is no thoroughfare, the main noises are the occasional bleating of the neighbour's sheep.

Ohren - An oasis of tranquility in the countryside

An unique tranquil living space can comfortably accomodate 2-7 persons. Furnishings include queen size beds, bright pool room and an inviting bar. Glass doors open up onto wooden terraces and a koi pond. An adjacent grill under a vine-covered pergola overlooks a large (1400sqm) well-kept garden. It has a private entrance with ample parking. We live on the top floor of the house, but we give our guests their space and guests have most of the garden to themselves. Easily accessible from the A3.

Welcome at "Haus Hermann" – a place for wellness & adventure with modern facilities. Enjoy the nice view and find your getaway to wind down & relax in our officially certified 5-star holiday home. The house was built in 1964 by our grandparents and was substantially renovated in 2023. Its highlights are: sauna, jacuzzi, gym, gas barbecue, diverse media & gaming offers (Smart TVs, soundbar, Nintendo Switch, Netflix, 150 TV channels, foosball table, table tennis, Darts, board games)

Talblick Vacation Home

The accommodation was designed with a lot of love for detail. The house shines with independence and special character. The house is heated with a wood pellet heating system. The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. Sandbox, barbecue area in the garden, table tennis, table soccer, plenty of space to play and direct access to cycling and hiking trails offer you the conditions for a pleasant stay. A place to relax and enjoy.

Haus Catrin - Pure idyll

If you are looking for peace, want to enjoy nature and simply relax, this is the place to be. The cute Catrin vacation home is newly renovated and offers everything a vacationer's heart desires with its cozy country house style charm. Hiking and biking trails are right outside the door. Cologne is easily accessible by car or train. The icing on the cake is the sauna, the fireplace and the Pipo circus wagon, where you can paint, make music or relax.

The historic site of the former Reichensteinerberg iron ore mine invites you to a very special stay. A time-out for your soul. Enjoy the idyll on a sunny clearing in the middle of the forest and pleasant days of regeneration and deceleration. A special highlight: our 12 alpacas (400 m) and our whiskey tent (50 m) from your accommodation.

Pets are welcome upon request. The cozy ambience invites you to linger and is the ideal starting point for excursions. So you can visit Eltz Castle, explore the Moselle, hike the dream paths, take part in a wine tasting or take a boat trip.

We rent a beautiful, cozy cottage. The cottage is located on the grounds of the former Maria pit right on the edge of the forest. A little off the main building. Thanks to the high-quality furnishings and some extras such as an infrared cabin, wood-burning stove, sauna on the terrace with an outdoor shower, large terrace overlooking the forest and much more, our vacation home is the ideal place to relax and unwind.

Westerwald time out

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.
