Tiny house holiday rentals in Haarlemmermeer

If I could give Leigh-Anne a 10 star review, I absolutely would. My husband and I were traveling from the states on our honeymoon, never having visited the Netherlands and not really being travelers, period. We honestly had no idea what we were doing - Leigh-Anne jumped in and was so kind and helpful. She was so clear in describing where the Airbnb is, not leaving out any important details of how it was on an island, needing to travel to and from by ferry, how often the ferry ran, etc. Luckily we are not big nightlife people and booked the cottage for peaceful refuge and that is just what we got. My husband and I are animal/nature lovers, so the fact there are goats and a rooster were icing on the cake. There are endless fields with wildlife, flowers, cows that you can see from the bedroom window when you wake up and a nice set up outside that is perfect for enjoying some coffee with the goats and birds. We had a fantastic stay, the kids and adults loved playing in the clean canal/water. Day trip to Amsterdam and a day visiting the beautiful Wander Island! Richard and Paula are great hosts and very accommodating and extremely helpful, would recommend booking with them!

The houseboat itself is a dream and superbly located, if on the one hand you love the beauty and tranquility of the countryside, sheep and green meadows on your doorstep, but on the other hand also like to go to the beach or to the cities. The train is quickly reached and that is a big plus in the parking situation in Amsterdam. Leonora and Erwin were easy to reach and always there for us when we had questions. Super friendly hosts! Loved our stay in Karina's houseboat. Location is fantastic! Set on a beautiful canal, deck is perfect for an afternoon drink.

Arrive and feel comfortable: warm welcome, short briefing and tips. Private retreat with nice terrace and small garden at the back out to the water. Surrounded by water, great nature. Individual since you have to take the ferry to get there ( 2 min)- uncomplicated. We used the house as a couple and found everything we need for a nice getaway. Recommended

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. A highlight was that there was cake and sparkling wine to welcome us. The accommodation is really very central and even more beautiful than in the pictures.

The location was very good, you can be on the beach in 3 minutes. It was very secluded. Good bus connections for those who come by public transport. On parallel boulevard plenty of great restaurants plus a shopping street. Not so big shell selection on the beach, but if you get up early in the morning you have better chances. Beautiful level beach well suited for long walks.

We had a great stay in this beautiful haven of peace offered by Darina, a kind, welcoming and always helpful host. I highly recommend it.

We were completely satisfied with the accommodation! Everything was clean, cozy and as described. The landlords were very friendly and helpful – you felt immediately welcome. We especially loved that you could rent bicycles for free to explore the surroundings. A real highlight was also the possibility to go across the canal by boat – this was a nice stay. We would definitely recommend the place and would love to come back

We had a wonderful weekend at Justin's. We felt comfortable immediately and everything was very clean. From the accommodation, you can easily make excursions to Leiden, The Hague or the sea. The place is very private and quiet. Justin always responded quickly to our messages and was flexible with check-in and check-out times. I will recommend the accommodation! 😊

Els was very flexible about the arrival. She was extremely accommodating and very very attentive in the form of small amenities such as drinks and snacks. Even bikes were provided to us. We were positively surprised.

We had a great stay at Lysan‘s! Cute tiny house in walking distance to the beach, we enjoyed it a lot!

We booked this accommodation after we had to leave our previous one due to dirty conditions. Esther is great! The little house is great! Everything was super clean and well described. Very nice amenities and good location! All 4 of us are glad that we found this accommodation spontaneously. Esther quickly cleaned this for us and we were only able to check in 1 hour later. Thank you, I hope we will come back here soon🙋🏻‍♀️

The place is absolutely great! We felt totally comfortable and would come back at any time! Wouter and family are super nice and very helpful. The Tiny House is super equipped and we lacked nothing.

It is really a great location in the middle of a beautiful villa district just outside Amsterdam. Nevertheless, the city centre can be easily reached by bus. Perfect for us as guests who travelled by car. And saves expensive travel costs, saves expensive hotel prices and is still fast in the city centre. Everything is very lovingly maintained in the middle of a beautiful garden. A great one-room apartment. DAX is a great host who responded very quickly and very informatively and gave really helpful tips.

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

Small, cozy and cocooning accommodation, with welcoming and warm and discreet hosts. Bikes included in the rental that allows a short walk around. Facing the canal, the atmosphere is peaceful. Vinyl gives extra charm to the home. I thank Jacqueline for the little sweets in the fridge. A supermarket in the city allows a few small bike runs. We felt very good for two nights at Jacqueline and Piet's.

Jeroens place was fantastic, quiet and close to the train station. And easy trip to The Hague, Amsterdam central and even Utrecht are all within reach. Sadly there was a train worker strike on when I was here, though that did not disrupt the relaxing experience of Jeroens place, and if anything amplified exploration of the area and Haarlem. If you go, hire a bike. Jerome has some fantastic recommendations!

This little wagon was wonderful. I fully enjoyed myself, the bed was comfy, kitchen and bathroom had everything i needed, the garden was gorgeous! Sadly, i didn't have time to kayak but i got a lot of use out of the bike (went to the beach, to Haarlem, Amsterdam, ...) which was a real highlight of the trip!

It was really nice staying at Albert’s place. The location is very near to schipool airport. The connectivity is very good from the house. Would recommend Albert’s place.

Staying at Alexander's place was a real pleasure. Upon arrival I was greeted by Alexander, who offered to help me get my bags from the car and answered all enquiries I had about the local area. Alex told me that the train station was less than 10 minutes walk from the property, so I caught the train into Amsterdam. The property itself is spotless and is nice and quiet and Cosy. You do hear the trains as they go by but ilyou quickly adapt to this and by bedtime they are fewer and fewer. This is a truly beautiful property and Alex was an absolute pleasure to talk to. Would recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit Amsterdam but stay far enough from the centre that you get some peace and quiet! 10/10

Beautiful, small accommodation right on the water. Rik also has chickens, a rabbit and a pig. The children particularly liked that. Since it is a tiny house, it is only suitable for small children/babies to a limited extent (ladders and steps cannot be secured). We had a lovely stay and would be happy to come back

An amazing find! Frans’ place is so unique and beautiful. The boat is a fun adventure and Frans did a great tutorial for me. They were both super flexible and accommodating, and their son too. The little cottage is gorgeous and perfect for what we needed. Got amazing sleep on the island so peaceful. Very easy parking setup too for my rental car. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
